Inception is just...Eternal Sunshine for action fans. Not that that's a bad thing, it's just not this mindblowing concept everyone makes it out to be.

I've seen 5 of the 10 - have The Fighter downloaded but never got around to watching it since it just seems a bit of a downer. The Social Network was great but a little subdued and I think capitalising on very recent/current issues is a little unromantic. But it is brilliant.

I'd love Toy Story to be the first animated recipient, since I can think of no other animated film worthy (maybe Up...)

The Kids Are All Right was fantastic but just seems far too overshadowed here. And Black Swan will probably pick up too many actress/makeup/choreography awards to stand a chance.

Haven't seen True Grit, 127 Hours (I love Franco for shallow reasons so no blood ty), The Fighter, Winter's Bone or The King's Snore (I'm sure it's lovely. I just don't care.)

Yeah but he also said that no one can touch your totem and that wasn't originally his totem, it was his wifes so how do you know he could really rely on it

I heard a theory about it somewhere that his wedding ring is really his totem cos apparently he's wearing it in some scenes but not in others. I have the DVD at home so I must watch it again as well.

The main concept of both was the invasion and tampering with of someones psyche? They share a similar central theme in that respect. I don't think he means Jim Carey was secretly in Inception, like.

I know what he means Stu:nono: I said they weren't that similar imo

Fair enough. It just sounds like you might be misinterpreting it, that's all. It's not literally ESOTSM for action fans and I doubt anyone would say so. It's just a turn of phrase.

So of course there not that similar.
