I am angry we were denied a PR option. I am also angry all parties did not dedicate themselves to making public awarness of different election systems. Give the public a chance to become interested in the political future.
People who are not aware and properly informed will simply stay with the devil they know even if they hate that devil.....
P.S.Did you get involved with the phone calls .Any abuse!!!!!

You could argue the current system is part used; some people don't vote. Under the new system people can rank people if they do choose, and refuse to rank candidates they don't want. It wont be part used by some - that is simply how AV works.
That said I'm also denied we weren't offered PR - AV is, honestly, a "miserable little compromise". I agree with your last point, as steps once sang, better the devil you know... although I'm not sure it's good to quote them here :P
Yes, I did volunteer. I'm glad I did it now, I got lots of abuse, and lots of deaf old ladies getting confused, and people slamming the phone on me saying really irrelevent stuff - "I'm Conservative", "I don't want the euro!" and some old people telling me there life story, but it was good. I also had to be one of those annoying people who approaches you on the street... it was quite enjoyable :devil:
