J: I just think, you go and live in your separate house with JJ(2) anddo all your special things with him. All the things you never wanted to do with me.

J: [sighs] It was my idea that he (JJ2) moved in. I thought it would be company for him, because John doesn’t really like going out.

J: But I see you going up the road with JJ(2) and I think, oh, you can go out with him, but you can’t go out with me.

J: I got bitter because John spent a lot of his time with JJ(2) and I was getting nothing from John. Nothing. And I was getting angrier and angrier.

J: Oh yeah. He’s up your ass anyway, John. And you’re up his ass as well. And this is what the real problem is.

J: [Bitterly] John’s given him (JJ2) his car. He’s got a nice £16k motor, so he’ll be okay.

If they were together in England the solution would be two separate flats, even if next door to each other! Or if he prefers to stay in Oz he’ll probably buy a place for himself. So he could ask Josie over and see how it goes, without all the hullaballou…I wish them both tremendous happiness, whichever way it goes. They were/are a phenomenon-that’s why we were all so drawn to them as role models. They made people very happy.

Split up? You have to actually be in a relationship to split up, not pretend to be in one.

I hate to say it, but I truly don't think either of them do have a conscience. I agree about it not being all younger ones who didn't see through it - the adults (and mothers!) who bought into it too - that stumped me!

I am well - especially as spring is nearly here - trust you are thriving and blossoming yourself

(I went off to Egypt a month ago and saw both the Pyramids and the post revolutionary celebrations - but that is another story ... :spin:)

We knew this was coming ... didn't we? Are we clairvoyant ... ?

things ok - few ups and downs but hey ho, c'est la vie. This thread has however has brightened up my day.

We did indeed see this coming UV - around about September 2010 iirc!!! LOL

I guess that their 6 month lease has run out of the flat that they had paid for them...... funny, I said this would happen like this months ago...... soon as they had to pay for somewhere for them to live and pay for it themselves: we'd soon see how real the realationship was. If you saw the documentary in October: when JJ was asked about their relationship - he made comment about seeing where they were financially (that was his first word), and see how they were relationship wise in 6 months. And right on cue.....6 months later - they split.

Oh well..... Josie will be relieved..... given the amount of times she declared herself to be a real randy mare: she'll be able to go out and find someone to finally mount her after all these months of pretence!!!

Yep the six month break up. No more free flat.:joker:

One after thought after reading the tweets sent by channel 5. I would be really disappointed if they have done this for publicity for their show. If sitting there and being nasty, bitchy and horrible to each other for a TV show is the way they have gone then for me that makes then ‘actors’. But after reading them tweets I can’t help but feel that John will come back and we get them meeting back up at the airport all embracing for the happy ending! It would look too staged and planned then. I hope if anything they talk on SKYPE and the phone and arrange to meet up in Australia. The programme can then end with Josie going over to Australia to sort things out with him. And the last shot we get is the plane flying into the sky but I think even that would looked contrived.
Yes....this is what's been posted on DS. Can you believe it: plans being hatched as to how their TV documentary/prog should pan out..... honest to God: there truly is some deluded sods out there. (along with 'plans that they could meet up somewhere half way, like Thailand, see if they can work it out).

I take it all back JJJ - for the spin off entertainment value like the above - this is hard to beat.:joker:

Hi Pyramid,

Hope you are ok:xyxwave: Long time no see.

So many people thought they were fake and gave it 6 months before the split story would start......its just a shame the abuse made towards people when they thought it was fake - now it has been proven.

The fact that only pepper and Mole turned up for the fake birthday party says it all.......even the majority of BB housemates couldn't be bothered anymore......

I should think that the two of them (if they have any conscience at all - which is debatable at this stage) will be haunted by a slight sense of shame and contamination for the rest of their days ...

This kind of con is never worth it ... people are always found out in the end ... :xyxwave:

:p But I'd say there is genuine emotion and anger in the interview I posted. If it was faked I can't see why two people in a cold business-relationship would allow themselves to appear in a magazine and allow themselves to say such personal and potentially damaging things about each other. I really don't see that happening.

:joker::joker::joker::joker:

lol no. I get the reasons though that the format of Big Brother led to some obsessional fan devotion (and hatred on the other side): viewers able to watch HMs 24 hours a day for 3 months, personally identifying with certain housemates, voting format encourages supporting a housemate etc.

And, this is a generalisation I know, but, a lot of women like romantic storylines.

Angus 29-03-2011 04:09 PM

I don't understand why anybody is in the least bit surprised! Though I do feel kind of sorry for their supporters who really bought into the whole faux romance thing.

(resists urge to say "I told you so").

Watch out now for John James and JJ - the next chapter:rolleyes: (wonder what's happening about the channel 5 programme lined up in May?).

Hi TT. Hope life's good at your end of the bed!

Call my a cynic but wouldn't the OK mag article have been done a week or so ago - but it's been kept all 'hush hush' until the mag has been advertised ;)

anyone who was truly in love, and truly heartbroken simply cannot contain that to themselves - it shows a million miles off. Most people don't wait till they've been paid for a magazine to cover the story....... then announce it on twitter just as the mag is being released.

And some say this isn't all manipulated!!!

James, I think you are brand new - I do. but let's look at this another way: if you were in a fake relationship, with a person that you had no common bond with other than a fake publicity romance - when they hacked you off no end, when you had to put up with all their annoyances and couldn't say anything because you were liviing a lie: I think it's natural that now, all that pent up frustration would surface. I don't think it can be soley attributed to emotions showing because they were in love: it could be true emotions showing now that they don't have to pretend.

As for saying potentially damaging things about each other - they weren't in a romantic relatioinship for them to care about the other one - then or now, so showing their true feelings for each other now is simply that - taking the masks off.

imo.

To some extent the magazine deals are driven by public demand. If they split they could have done it quietly and just had an agent put out a public statement, yes. But then they would just received message from the fans (and some haters) literally demanding an explanation. If you go on Twitter there are thousands of 'JJJ' fans there.

I think you have to go back to the way they behaved in the House (that's really the only time we could observe the housemates properly), and in my opinion what was shown there was a genuine connection between two people, combined with quite a few big rows. I'd say that reading the interviews that up-and-down relationship continued out of the house. I think a fake couple would sugar-coat it more than admit to that.

The other factor I think is that these two are generally honest and genuine people and wouldn't have time for major fake media stuff. John especially made a big issue about people being genuine so I can't see him contradicting himself with that regard. He is meant to be quite wealthy too so doesn't have much to gain from it.

Obviously if you didn't like them as housemates or supported someone else you'd be inclined to take a different view on it.

Voddie: one of the best I've read is, ...."john came across the world for josie, its time now that josie show how much she loves him".

How fecking deluded are some people......JJ came across the world to take part in a show that he was completely obsessed with. Not for Josie. WTF is wrong with these people's heads!!!!!

Going back to them in the house: it was onl when the new housemates came in (Rachel and Sam I think) - who both made it very clear that JJJ were expected to have a romance - that suddenly they were speaking with mics off: going under the covers and covering up their mics - then all of a sudden the fauxromance blossomed.

The both saw an opportunity to lead a life of lies and deception - and imo: the took it and squeezed the cash cow dry.

JJ may not need the money financially, but he was obsessed with getting onto BB - as well wanting to 'be somebody'.
this is the adult man whose bedroom was a shrine to Beckham remember.... he came with a master plan - not all to do with money. Josie for sure financially - but JJ had something to prove.

JJ was one of the biggest hypocrites in the house : for a man who banged on about people being genuine - slagging off housemates who kept sayign they were going to leave and then didn't......remind me how many times JJ himself uttered that phrase, because I lost count.

Oh here we go... the old You are all haters patter. :bored:

You don't need to hate a person to see through what clearly has been a massively staged publicity stunt: for no other purpose but to con fans and supporters out of their money.
