The actual format of Big Brother was intended to be a Game Show aswell as a social experiment. [Which is why they added a prize fund] The USA one is treated alot like a game show, I despise BBUSA but I think the reason I enjoyed BB5 so much was because it was the first and only series to be treated like a game. They all wanted to win and showed it, Victor and Jason were amazing at playing the game. People should realize, playing 'the game' isn't a bad thing. Poor Nasty Nick :( |
No. With a new production team, new people overseeing it, it being on a new channel and it being very much a new era for the show I feel any attempt to recreate C4BB as it was when it left off (battered and bruised and in need of surgery but instead just bandaged up) would fail, they should take the basic elements of the format and the branding and start again, they should treat it as a whole new adaption of the original worldwide success story Big Brother format rather than a continuation of the ailing last one the UK tried.

I actually really liked that feature. But take it more seriously - there's £500,000 to be won! Thats 5X what it was on C4!!!

yes, loved save and replace!

bb aus had friday night live show, which was so good, maybe bb uk has the money, they should do the same, it will boost the show, bb should give weekly prizes to the winners, or winner is allowed to nominate 3 or 4 people instead of one, or save someone, etc. save and replace tasks were good, but can be bigger and better.
