Why on earth would anyone want to stay with someone who treats them with such disdain? Beats me how anyone can 'love' someone who is happy to hurt them in such a way.

To be fair, there are probably hundreds (thousands?) of footballers who treat their wives well. Take Roy Keane - wouldn't I love to :joker: His wife is beautiful - I saw a pic of her once in a broadsheet newspaper. You won't find her on the pages of OK, Hello, Heat or The Sun. They appear to have a very different kind of marriage. It depends on the footballer, and on the footballers wife. Everywhere there are men without morals and women without dignity. With the fame and money at stake in these cases, however, the flaws are scrutinised and magnified. Amy Humberman, author and actress, is, by explicit definition, a WAG (Mrs Brian O'Driscoll), but she certainly doesn't fit the stereotypical mode.

not everybody shares your moral priorities.

some women are capable of telling themselves that it was just a one off sex act and didnt have any emotional meaning. Thats for them to decide. Doesn't mean she's weak just that, on balance, she would prefer to keep what she has and try to make it work.

At the end of the day, you do not know how other peoples relationships work or what boundaries they set. Or how strong their bond is.
