On a beach or designated area no problem, but I would not want my Mother,Grandmother, or Sisters walking round the streets genearally topless so I have to say no overall.
We are not a Country where that is considered acceptable and I doubt the vast majority of women would even want to walk round topless where young children could see them. Anyway, our climate is not one for that scenario the majority of the year anyway. |

In theory yes women should be allowed to walk about topless. Freedom of expression and all that. However as the reality is that not all bare chested bodies are beauitiful and that includes males as well. (Some of the hairy pigs make one feel positivly sick)
As a result of reality people also have a right not to be offended.......How you square the circle I don't know. I think it's really down to common sense (sadly not all have that). In other words if you have something to be proud of it probably won't risk offending as much as a figure that isn't such a pride and passion Common sense I think would be to do such a thing in a holiday environment. But not in your local shopping precinct or corner shop... |
The problem is we are just not accustomed to seeing naked women walking around the streets. If it were allowed now it would just become something sleazy and silly. Its just not part of our culture or nature.
and it aint ever gonna happen. Even men have to put a top on when in certain places like shopping centres. |
