She hasn't manage to out do herself in years. I don't know if shes either incapable to be back performing or if its plain laziness. Every artist should be at some degree topping their former music. Her fans may like it because its got her name on it but the album pretty much bombed.

She said she 'I wanted it to sound different from everything else out right now' pmsl who's she trying to kid? It sounds like any other autotuned dance tracks to me, nothing original about it. I've listened to a few songs from the album and I found the dull and forgetable.

Anyway I don't think this is going anywhere fast so im gonna just leave this as You like it & I don't? :p

The album is pure sex its awesome and you cannot judge untill you have listened to the whole thing.

And it hasnt really bombed it was top ten here and has been in the top 40 for a month now and was number 1 in America. If i released an album and it reached number 8 in the charts would you say i failed?

Her album "in the zone" in 2004 only reached 13 in the UK and this was when she was uspposed to be at her peek.

People think because her latest single didnt reach the top ten here aswell that its bombed but its been in the top 40 for 11 weeks!

Heres the albums chart positions from around the world.

USA- 1
AUSTRALIA- 1
CANADA- 1

^ A few years back the album would have been 1 EVERYWHERE.

Chart positions mean nothing though. It takes a relatively tiny amount of physical copy sales compared to what it used to do to push albums and singles into charts. Any devoted fanbase can do it.

A better measure of someones relevance is their overall prevelance in pop culture including word of mouth, print media and television appearances. And my general feeling is the vast majority of people simply don't care anymore.

Actually no it wouldnt have.

Her chart positions worldwide are consistent she has never been number 1 in every country.

Nothing has changed.

Circus was number 1 in 3 countries

Blackout number 1 in 2 countries

In the zone number 1 in 2 countries

Britney number 1 in 4 countries

Oops i did it again number 1 in 6 countries

Baby...one more time number in 4 countries

And now Femme Fatale is number 1 in 3 Countries

People seem to think that since her breakdown she flopped but her music is as popular as allways around the world
