Just like Big Brother, series 8 will see the downfall of The X Factor.

I really do think this will be the start of the X-Factor's decline in interest. It could take years to kill the bastard off and Cowell will probably have another almost identical show in the wings but bring it on, baby. It's been an absoloute cancer to the charts and to the state of culture in general. Watch it on a casual basis by all means but there is a generation of kids who see it as what music and the music industry is all about in a nutshell.

The same culture that is leaving albums dead in the water because we don't have the time to listen to them anymore and the same culture that is seeing big labels take less and less risks. Just go on the telly on a Saturday night, get the fame you so clearly deserve, and have a few lovely, unremarkable pop ditties that do absoloutely nothing to foward or even be the best at the genre you are attempting.

Tulisa is fiesty and won't be anyones lapdog unlike Cheryl and even Louis she won't be afraid to speak her mind too!

Some people will just be snobbish because of the band she is in or if they dislike her, but she at least deserves a chance or if some di before judgement can be passed/

The worst thing is X Factor makes me and like everyone I know have very violent arguments and consumes our autumns. It needs to end. :joker:

True but Tulisa has actually had to work even harder than Cheryl to get where she is now. Cheryl got the part in a manufactured band and is the most successful but not the best singer and divides opinion too.

I am not watching it anyway as Dannii as left so I don't care anymore.

I don't see how anyone could make assumptions on how exciting someone might be just because they have a ~from the streeetz! media image. She could be as boring as sin for all we know.

Give them their own sitcom/chat show then.

Two 59 year olds should not be judging a pop talent show together. Louie on his own is fine as he is the 'clown' judge but not the Osbourn creature - nasty vile piece of work.

People take the piss out of Louis but he actually does a lot of promoting the acts he manages and actually does know some of what he's talking about even if he does talk nonsense sometimes.
