i've not seen such an un****able group since... never

btw - Girl centre right has a moustache.

btwbtw - These types of people generally aren't really any fun and don't know how to socialise with other people not like them. They would just fade into the background. Doubt this is the tyepe of people BB really wants [psychologist/]

I know that, but the whole Reality TV concept was took from The Real World.

Endemol even said this at one point in the early years of Big Brother.

Why are we all obsessing over a random picture that isin't even from the auditions?

Either way - if they are sticking to their word though [about keeping the housemates normal] then I doubt any of these people, if that is the real picture - will get in anyway.

Stu 30-05-2011 12:24 PM

They look fairly normal to me. They are just sci fi nerds dressing up, that's all. Open the picture in a new tab and the name gives it away. It's from comic con.

Reality tv isn't new, The Family first aired in the seventies.

No one does that.

D.A. Pennbaker's Depeche Mode 101 done the fly on the wall of ordinary people thing three years before The Real World anyway.

Trufax.

I would fkucing hate to be in a house full of *******.

Bring back normal feisty, bubbly and genuine people from normal walks of life.

I want Joe Public not Never fcuking Neverland!!!!!

Like ive said in the past the public will warm to people like themselves and celebrate a housemate becoming succesful and effectively make them a celeb as they like them as a person.

The public will NOT warm to wannabees who think they deserve fame! Why should we waste money on voting for someone who deserves fcuk all.

rachelricci 30-05-2011 02:04 PM

i go to this every year, its called MCM expo, the costumes, the attudes are not for big brother, the costumes are the norm there i only missed this year as i am goign to a music festival, but this is the norm, after expo many just go back to there normal life and dont dress up again for a year, the fact it was all for big brother is a joke

Jords 30-05-2011 02:22 PM

Goes?

armand.kay 30-05-2011 02:41 PM

Everyone its a comic book convention you are meant to dress up and i dont think its fair to judge them before you give them a chance.

Looks like Mikey a little bit. Just a wee bit bigger :joker:

If any of them actually got in they'd be first week eviction fodder.

karl100589 31-05-2011 08:27 PM

You don't need to get too carried away everyone, The Star has always posted rediculous storylines and hype around the show and none of it has ever come true. Plus I don't believe that the channel showing BB has that much influence over the casting anyway, that's Endemol's job IIRC.

And whilst the idea of recruiting contestants from a comic con may be unusual it might just be a stroke of genius, aren't I right in saying that Marcus was a massive comic book geek and used to go to conventions regularly?

Exactly! when c5 first announced they'd take bb over i though oooook but was determined to remain positive, when they said they'd bring it back to how it was my positivity seemed founded but everything i've heard since contradicts in such a big way! i'm now needless to say not feeling so optimist! i still hope.....! roll on august so we're either overjoyed or put out of our misery
