This does not bode well.

On Friday 99% of people seemed normal though. Although one twat that kept kissing everyone and spilled water over the producers apparently got through even though security threatened to chuck him out. And there was only 1 model type person I noticed in 'fancy dress' but I won't say what she wore but I think it's something she was proud about so if she did get in the house I wouldn't necessarily say it was a bad thing. Unless her VT proved otherwise

When we went in the yes/no rooms they were screaming and everything when they got through, lots of boobs out, fake eyelashes, giving typically ditzy answers and laughing at themselves.

Peggy from take me out was there too but she didn't get past the audition stage which surprised me considering most of the girls they were putting through were like her

“Big Brother needs to be a bit more authentic. Our biggest message is: ‘Be yourself.’

This IS a very very good sign of better things to come but I agree with those who said they have also been sending mixed-messages and indications that those very same 'wannabe-stars' are making progress in auditions.

I would love to think this is the real story after all. Further more I don't need to see another model who is there to 'prove she isn't thick just because she is pretty'.

But yes that is a really good sign and if true it would make the new series much much more interesting.

But not to the teenagers expecting superficial and flamboyant models.

Your vid seems very scripted. Also you do know that by posting the video everywhere you are probably ruining your chances of getting in? They like to keep the identities absolutely secret.

Still hearing mixed reports. Some saying outrageous OTT HM 'caricature' types are very often getting into the final rounds. The flamboyant extrovert gay hipsters and me-dumb fake-titted blondes.
Then some are saying the whole open-audition thing (as with C4) is just for hype and promotion and there isn't any intention of putting through these people. That 5 has been inventing a very unique process to seek out nearly 'unwitting' applicants.

I did hear an interesting 'insider' allegation of the possible upcoming casting but it nearly needs its own thread.

Age range? ;)

The 'insider' isn't employed with 5 but some may recall this person was bang-on in previous C4 season TiBB-ElProximo exclusive predictions,
however,
This is still just a general 'concept' apparently being sorted out for 5's reboot and it was this:

First: Yes, there has been a lot of internal debates/discussions at 5 whether this is just a 'continuation' of the series,
or,
Will they totally reboot this in a completely unique 'purist' back-to-roots series.

The clever resolution and 'theme' will see two sorts of camps:
- Around 4 or 6 HMs who will be nearly 'stereotypes' of C4's kind of Big Brother.
The Tit-bird, the OTT bisexual club-hoppers, the orange-skinned gossip girl. They are HUGE BB fans. etc.
Add to this a section of the house will remind you very much of the previous incarnation.

- The second camp is going to represent the 'new generation' which will see a different sort of person. Not clear if this means the 'authentic regular people' team,
but,
some buzz that none of them in that 'camp' applied but were chosen somehow.
Add to this you may find sections of the house which do NOT strike you as C4 BB type of idea.

At first you may not notice this theme but they will divide them into teams which will (more apparently) represent the 'Old BB' versus the 'New 5 Generation'.
This will let 5 transition and bring over the parts of the audience still expecting 'BB12',
and,
then let them introduce what is '5 BB' and their own rightful style etc.
You see the idea.

Look for the 'Old BB' type of HMs to be 'baddies' and the new '5 version' group to be more the 'goodies'.

My insider did call (almost bang-on to the damn details) some key aspects and scenes in BB11 last season
(in a few cases EXACTLY and this was months BEFORE BB11 started) so take that for what it's worth.

btw.. personally I love this idea so I hope they are right again.

I dont think I believe this, a bit too complicated :S
I also think 2 seperate houses are a bad idea.
It would be 2 funny if channel 4 group> channel 5 group tho ::p

I didn't get the impression it would be something like 2 separate houses but a comparison was made to BB9's 'heaven and hell' but a kind of manipulated separation
You will see (or feel) a kind of theme: 5 are the new owners. This is our world now. We say goodbye to the old world.

This would explain one seemingly baffling thing we've been hearing about - many outrageous OTT almost 'stereotypical' BB open-audition people (the fakes, the party boys, wannabe model types) seemingly fast-tracked to the finals at the open-auditions.
This would be the kind of 'old BB caricatures' this theme would require.

I think I do believe it. At the auditions last Friday I noticed some people that got through fit the bill as 'characters' while msot of te people there were quite normal.

That dick that spilled water over the producers apparently got through and the girl I described as wearing a costume got through. But then again so did this down-to-Earth girl I spoke to who said she'd never lose her virginity in the house and she wasn't impressed with the water-spillign guy. Plus that Asian couple I saw didn't particularly stand out as say Mario and Lisa - they just appeared like any other middle aged middle class Asian couple you notice in public.

If it is true I think it'd be interesting to see if there's a clear divide between the C4 and C5 type HMs or if the louder C4 types turn on eahc other. My worry with this though is that the C4 characters will dominate the show and either be the first lot to leave or the C5 bunch will be seen as too boring and leave before they get a chance to open up

mj2303 25-06-2011 09:19 AM

i cant see this happening as there really is no CH4 type. yes there are the usual wags and and studs each year but we also get alot of diversity too Stuart the student, Shell naturist girl, Kitten alternative lesbian, Masoon quiet girl, rachel 'normal' non agressive, Steph happy go lucky woman, Josie country bumpkin ect i cant see how anyone they pick as a channel 5 character would stand out as being completely different to anything CH4 have had before without them being complete crazy and so weird and unique....? I just cant see that idea working although i welcome 2 sides being pitted against one another so to speak.
