I'm not that bothered about it, I'd watch it sometimes when it was on E4 but it's normally pretty boring tbh

mj2303 26-06-2011 12:09 PM

yeah i couldnt care less about live feed, it really isnt what makes the show. I mean would you still watch it it was only live feed and no highlights show.....errrm NO! It does not add anything tothe show as it is mostly bleeped out due to them talking about other people outside, or swearing and even cuts off due to nudity ect or just shows them sleeping. The highlight show is edited, yes but they will show the major stories going on in the house and cant make it up cause the housemates did genuinely say or do what they did. I say scrap the live feed cause it would cost CH5 far too much money to doit when they would make more money off showing normal programmes, just leave the live feed on the website if they have to.

ermmmmm... YES! Just because you don't watch it doesn't mean it's pointless. Without LF it totally loses the concept of big brother.

No it doesn't. People say this but it just isn't true.

Big Brother is an entertainment show from monday to sunday and repeat for like 10 weeks. I want to watch a good show. I don't care about editing of highlights. I want to watch an episode which shows the housemates and some character in it. If that means its creating story lines, thats fine with me.

LF is just boring when i watched it and most of the time, it is just bird sounds.

Just sent an angry email to the Daily Star to get awareness out there - you lot ******ing do the same rather than sit here and complain but do nothing.

Click the link on DigitalSid's SIG.

There's no point at all in us emailing The Sun - they couldn't give a bollocks about Big Brother if it doesn't involve Jedward.

A better idea would be to mail Channel 5 itself, but if we want publicity or something - go for The Daily Star route.

the concept of big brother is to see how a number of strangers react and cope living in a house with no contact from the outside world all under the watchfull eye of big brother. Live feed does not come into it. And if you look into the genine concept behind big brother when it began it was always intended to be a gameshow more than any social experiment, that was just how the UK plugged its first series to gain media and public interest

They aren't going to listen to a 14 yearold or anyone for that matter.
They will do what they want when they want.

Yes I'd still watch it but it would be much better with Live Feed IMO.

yesss but my point is that we are BB & the tag line is "BB is always watching". If we aren't able to be "always watching" then it just becomes like every other show & misses the complete point of the show imo.

mj2303 26-06-2011 09:33 PM

we are not BB! the tag line is BB is always watching not the public is always watching! We do not make the rules! Our job is just to judge, vote watch and be entertained. Big brother is the one who is always watching they have never plugged it as 'the audience' being big brother ever., and in no way shape or form does lack of live feed make it like any other show?!

Beastie 26-06-2011 11:30 PM

Yes I would still watch it without live feed. But I wouldn't be a very happy bunny.

Omah 27-06-2011 08:33 AM

No - I rarely watch the HLs

Well how without LF is BB unique? I'm a celeb/shipwrecked/love island etc all obviously have a crew that "are always watching" 24/7 aswell. This forum wouldn't even exist if it wasn't for Lf.

Jackie 27-06-2011 07:10 PM

yeah but its not the same without live feed.

happybbfan 28-06-2011 06:00 PM

If you want to let Daily Star know how we all feel about the prospect of no live feed then this guy is who you need Peter.dyke@dailystar.co.uk,he dealt with the fiasco of BB10.Im sure he would love to hear from us again.
