Former WWF wrestler 'Macho Man' Randy Savage died of heart disease, according to the medical examiner's official autopsy report.

The star, whose real name was Randall Poffo, passed away last month following a car accident in Pinellas County, Florida.

The AP has now confirmed that Savage died because of an enlarged heart and blocked coronary arteries.

The report goes on to claim that the injuries Savage sustained in the crash would not have been enough to contribute to his death.

The 58-year-old had been driving with his wife Lynn at the time of the accident, who herself suffered only very minor injuries.

Toxicology results confirmed that small traces of alcohol and the painkiller hydrocodone were present in Savage's blood at the time, but that they were not enough to have been a factor.

The wrestler's career spanned more than 20 years, during which time Savage won seven heavyweight titles, including two in the then-WWF and four in the now-defunct WCW.

CM Punk's current storyline was continued at Friday's RAW live event in Sydney, Australia. Ring announcer Tony Chimel announced at the start of the show that Punk was suspended by WWE but had agreed to fulfill his contract and appear at the event. Punk trashed the McMahon family, among others, before his mic was cut off once again. He then lost to Rey Mysterio in the show's opening match.
