Rob 05-07-2011 06:44 PM

Wow I didn't think it was possible, can you still write with your other hand?

Not very well, no. I'm fine for painting with my left hand to an acceptable degree of accuracy, but, for everything else, I use my right hand. You learn every day! :)

NB: Please use the "quote" button: it gets confusing! :)

:)

I really disagree with that! That's bound to be confusing for a kids brain.

Yeah, schools used to force lefties to become right handed. :bored:

Josy 05-07-2011 07:21 PM

Right handed.

My sister used to get hit on the hand with a ruler at school if she wrote with her left hand so she can use both now.

'Conor 05-07-2011 07:28 PM

Apparently only 10% of the world population is Left Handed

GypsyGoth 05-07-2011 08:14 PM

I'm right.

CharlieO 05-07-2011 08:17 PM

Im right handed but I got some test and my left is stronger and I should use my left hand for writing and would be neater but don't because I am just used to using my right.

I play basketball with my left hand though and other things just not writing.

Kerry 05-07-2011 08:17 PM

Ambidextrous but mainly use my right

BigBrotherfan4ever 05-07-2011 08:23 PM

left handed

Ninastar 05-07-2011 08:27 PM

right handed

quite alot of the people i've liked in the past are left handed. which i find kinda weird seeing as only 10% of the world are

I'm left-handed and when I was about nine this horrendous nun (witch) tied my left hand behind my back and used to make me do lines on the blackboard with my right. But she didn't break me, the wagon  That would be 26 years ago. I sincerely hope it still doesn't go on, but there was DEFINITELY a stigma attached to it back then. Since then, I use my right hand for a lot of things like using scissors. I cannot use a scissors with my left, and that's because scissors are designed for right handed people. They do make special gadgets like that for lefties, but as I grew up with right handed ones, I just developed that set of movements with my right. But I chop with my left hand and do most other things  with my left.

Sorry for going on.................

Mac Hiavellian 05-07-2011 09:14 PM

Right.

My mate can tell if someone's left handed just by staring at their face for a while and I'm getting better at it too! I showed him a pic of 4 of my relatives and told him to point out the lefty and he immediately pointed to her lol

It's hard to explain lol. Something about facial feature proportions. People start taking offence and get self-conscious but it's only because we really scrutinise them lol

Lee. 05-07-2011 09:39 PM

MacH, is that you in your avatar?

Except in some countries where 0% of the population is left handed because everyone uses their left hand to wipe their... (use your imagination to finish this sentence)

No, it's fine! No, the stigma vanished in the 1980s, but, like such issues as racism and homophobia, there is still a slight stigma attached to being left-handed, which is ridiculously silly.
