They get infractions for it obviously. But usually if it happens in one of the chat threads, and isnt reported...then we dont know about it til days afterwards(if at all). And its not really fair to infract someone for a post that has been there for a week :p
Unfortunately the default insults to members infraction lasts only 10 days(which is why I tend to make customs, for more points and that last longer). *hopefully* the infraction system will be made over before BB starts, and people can get away with a LOT less. I think we are way too soft right now...and I know not many will agree with me, but its true.

Can sort of get where you're coming from I guess. Though I'd have maybe thought that at least removing the 'old' insults when they are noticed would be a good shout: otherwise the 'old comments' are still seen, and could be regarded as being 'okay to do' as the insults are still there for all to see (and think it's alright to continue with - and so they do).
In fairness; I don't think you lot have an overeasy job when it's left to giving 'your own' (not necessarily you personally( individual 'infraction levels' etc - and I think that's possibly where some of the gripes might be arising?
I guess it's one of those roles that a lot of the time, you can't do right for doing wrong. :) |
