I think I've only ever been sick twice or three times. I've been in some proper states too but I'm pretty good at not throwing up.

I once started (well, had a couple) at 1am. Though I did have seriously bad tonsilitis and just wanted to knock myself out. I was in agony :joker:

Supermarkets here can't sell booze after 10 either. They've also stopped selling Codeine over the counter.

My nights haven't been the same.

Pre drinks = 4 pints/4 doubles of spirits with a mixer

Once out again it's over 4 doubles and mixers or pints or rocket fuels if I'm really going for it (Mix of 50% Gin, Vodka and... something and 50% orange juice.) That usually gets me merry enough for a stomachache the next morning.

I guess I can handle quite a lot seeing as I'm only 10 stone haha, but I'd never identify as an unstoppable tank. I did finish a centurian partially with spirits once because I ran out of beer. Now I sound like I'm boasting. I'll shut the **** up now.

Stu 07-07-2011 01:07 AM

I don't get the weight argument. I'm 10 stone too and I've seen elephants fall down around me.

LemonJam 07-07-2011 01:08 AM

Come to think of it I have a friend who's a large unit and has a chunderfest after 4 pints.

Jords 07-07-2011 01:08 AM

I think quite a bit.

1 night I had:
5 x Cider
4 x Southern Comfort & Coke
1 x Smirnoff Ice

In 2/2.5 hours and felt giddy, drunkest Ive ever been but not out of it.. Im not sure if thats a lot in that time or not though?

Boothy 07-07-2011 01:10 AM

I'm 9.5 stone and 5'8 and can handle more than my mate who's taller and weighs a lot more than me. But then again, he only drinks now and again. I think it's more to do with the fact that the more often you drink, the higher your tolerance becomes.

Kerry 07-07-2011 01:11 AM

I don't get sick unless anyone wafts strong cider (you know, the white stuff that kills your liver upon smell alone?) or Malibu at me. Oh and Rum. Once had rum (sorry Nan - I know it was yours) and paid for it

Iceman 07-07-2011 01:11 AM

Well Ive a free bar at this wedding tomorrow so Ill let you all know what my new limits are

Night!

That was what made me get off the bus, I drank a bottle of it straight and got sick for days.

I detest the very word now

Stu 07-07-2011 01:12 AM

I don't get the rum buzz. Everyone I know guzzles Captain Morgan's like it's going out of style. It's rank.

Then again I don't see the point in any spirits not whiskey or vodka.

Oh this was going back a few years now, mid teens, only started drinking it again recently.

Been to the one in Deansgate Lock(e)s (sic) but I don't think I have had a shot of Dave in there. Maybe you went to the one in Canal St if you were in Manchester...

Stu 07-07-2011 01:22 AM

Nothing wrong with wine. There's a filthy drunkard method of slugging the cheap stuff from the bottle and getting hammered with an odd sense of class.

Kerry 07-07-2011 01:22 AM

Nowt wrong with wine. It's a great mellow-er
