I flove Blink 182 since the all the small things days but I never actually heard them talk in an interview ever. They're so immature.

..I love Blink182, for me they bring all sorts of nostalgia of music I 'grew up on' through my sons...although I always liked them though, there was so much slit your wrists/suicide music that I didn't quite appreciate at the time because of the level of volume it was played and how although it was all I ever heard, I didn't quite listen to it maybe as much as I should have...anyway, I'm generally having a bit of a revival of it all atm...but yeah, Blink182.... this one's probably appropriate for the nostalgia and all of the great tunes I missed...

Ithinkiloveyoutoo 17-07-2014 03:12 PM

ammi, blink are one of my go to's for nostalgia fix as well. I adore them. :cheer2:

I get what you're saying about not giving them a chance before because you thought it was all just loud and you thought it was all about death and suicide, and depressing stuff-a lot of the music i'm into now are bands i'd heard of but never gave it a listen because I thought it was just satanic, depressing angry music.

Blink forever. :D

King Gizzard 17-07-2014 03:15 PM

..yeah, some of the stuff I really liked..Blink182, Greenday, Offspring, Foo Fighters, stuff like that but I never got the really heavy stuff like Slipknot and Bullet For my Valentine, it just made makes you want to kill yourself..?.....but now I find myself sometimes listening to some of the songs I hated and now really liking them/which is what my sons always said...'listen to them, mum..this is quality music..'....

Drew. 17-07-2014 09:02 PM

Blink, Linkin Park, Sum 41, Green Day & a majority of those bands around during the early 00's were all i listened to, still some of the best music on my itunes now.

...yeah, probably my favourite band of that era and Spiders would be on my all time favourite list of 'songs of life' not only because it's a great song but because of my associations with it of summers spent of a house full of young people, some of whom I didn't even know in those 'exam years' with my sons when everyone just seemed to 'hang out'..and just some great conversations...then they grow and they go...

..so Blink...
