Personally i dont believe that would be good for them mentally , it might be good for the show and amazing entertainment but i dont belive they would risk harming them mentally and plus theyve stated that they would only take part in the show if they could do it together and not be seperated so i dont belive that channel 5 would risk them walking which they inevitably will if they were seperated especially after paying them a massive amount of money to take partin the show ,, thats just my opinion though :D

I'm glad:D, marmite as they are and irritate some they are entertaining IMO and will cause controversy as usual and hopefully show a different side to themselves:).

I am really over the moon, they will be annoying (I hope) to some of the other housemates but they will be entertaining too.

Although they're not Hollywood, they do have a rather large fanbase behind them. Yes, that fanbase is mostly teenage girls, but it's still a large fanbase regardless. They could bump up the ratings a little bit anyway. They've managed to sell out quite a few big venues on their tour at the moment. There's definitely worse people they could have got on the show. (ie Sue Katona... I don't see any Sue Katona fans online! :hugesmile:)

These figures surrounding Jedward are just BS put about by their PR to hype up their importance. No way would ch5 pay that much for those two losers.

Even ITV2 ditched them after one series and they usually cling on to any old rubbish.

Many celebrities would near kill to be offered that for about 3 weeks on TV. Well done to Jedward and also to Louis because he has managed them brilliantly.

We have had this discussion before Zippy,6th out of 12 is not a loser, its actually in the top half of the finals really, as to 8th in Eurovision, that is even more successful, to come 8th out of 25 Countries on the strength of 42 other Countries votes.Again well in the top half of the competition.
Everyone cannot win in competitions and they did far better than most in both the finals you list.

However, again as I've said many times, you hate them, I really like them and it seems TV companies really like them too.

As for not believing the figures, you don't know they are wrong just as I cannot be 100% sure they are right,however on past contracts they have been paid very high sums and still are raking the funds in so they are going to be around on TV for many years yet,likely decades even.

They have a few advertising contracts but nothing huge. One direction have done similar campaigns even. And you don't know what they earnt. The press talk BS about figures and always inflate hugely.

and given that their main appeal lies mainly with small children(like Louis always claims) they certainly will not still be around when their youth fades. They won't get away with wacky hyper behaviour as grown men. Then what do they have to offer? Sod all.
