Rubbish, that's just getting pointlessly sanctimonious, no she shouldn't really put the dog in a bin but I highly doubt it's a crime and he's not really in the position to do anything about it

Thats really ignorant. If I found out the woman dumped the body of her dead dog in the bin, I would alert the relevent authorities.

michael21 06-08-2011 06:56 PM

was it a big dogee or a little dogee?

Zippy 06-08-2011 07:12 PM

Every kind of thing gets thrown in the rubbish bins so I don't think a dead dog is a problem tbh.

However, from a moral point of view its disgusting and disrespectful. She can't possibly have loved that dog very much if its just tossed in a bin.

*suspects this is made up*

Disgusting. Your friend should be ashamed of herself

jaybitches 06-08-2011 07:35 PM

Of course am not maken it up. just i had never heard of anyone doing it before so i wondered if your aloud to do it in the first place.
No i wont go to the vets for siJple reason its nothing to do with me.
If was my dog then yea would go to the vets and do it the proper way of course my leo is my world :)
It was a pug to the person asking how big it was :)

Glenn. 06-08-2011 07:50 PM

Its gross.

LaLaLand 06-08-2011 07:52 PM

That's awful!! Oh my God!

We buried ours in our garden where she used to like sitting in the sun, our older one is there too somewhere (I was only little when he passed) and we have pebbles on it and a plant growing through.

I've never thrown pets away like that! Hamsters, budgies even fish all have graves!! Lol.

That's shocked me though, that poor, poor dog! I'd imagine if the dog is found in the trash a stir will be caused though surely?

Nothing to do with you? Aren't you the friend of this person whose dog has died? You could quite easily step in and do something about this, leaving the poor dog to rot in a wheelie bin is just vile.

Like I said earlier. The OP is as much to blame for doing nothing.

LaLaLand 06-08-2011 08:03 PM

I feel physically sick thinking about that poor dog.

Zippy 06-08-2011 08:21 PM

OH ffs calm down

Poor dog? I doubt he gave a sh!t where he was buried and he certainly doesn't care now.

mizzy25 06-08-2011 08:23 PM

How is it ignorant? And who exactly are the relevant authorities? As far as I know it's not a crime to put a dead animal in a bin

I agree with Zippy here, yeah it's pretty disgusting to dump it in a bin but people are getting hysterical about this

It's just out of respect, a lot of dog owners actually care for their dogs. This woman couldn't have cared much if she allowed it to rot in a wheelie bin, begs the question why she even had one in the first place.

Kerry 06-08-2011 08:25 PM

What a hideous thing to do. Get her reported to the council

I still think it's bullsh*t, but if it's not then you're a bit of a prick for just posting your story on an internet forum and not doing anything else. It also makes you a bit of a prick that you even have to ask the question, of course it's not okay to throw a dog in the bin.

Still, like I said, I'm calling bullsh*t

Marsh. 06-08-2011 08:29 PM

Sneak around there late tonight and take it out the bin.

Then prop it up to their bedroom window for them to find in the morning. That'll teach them.

The local council for one:thumbs:

I doubt they would be happy to think a dog would be disposed of in a council wheelie bin.

Kerry 06-08-2011 08:40 PM

I do know that if a dead dog or cat is found on the street a certain section of the council collect it and store them for so long (incase the owner comes forward wanting to give it a burial) and then incenerate them so I can't imagine that animals can be popped into your average waste bin. Let alone the moral side of it
