Alex Band of 'The Calling',he has an amazing voice and is also a brilliant songwriter as was also Stuart Adamson of 'Big Country',They are 2 male voices I rate as the very best but they are really not solo male singers. Both in the main being group/band members,that's a reason I didn't include them in my list of 10.

Not considered a great vocalist, but I loved Marc Bolan's voice
