Getting beat by an extremely overrated Liverpool side at home.. it just gets worse

Stu 20-08-2011 02:55 PM

The Emirates was alight with the sound of You'll Never Walk Alone in a mashup with 'Spend Some ****ing Money!'.

It was beautiful, so it was. Arsene Wenger looking sad pictures will never get old.

Enrique was amazing, Walcott couldn't even get a touch of the ball. Arshavin was useless, they'd have been better off starting another one of the youth players.

And you know things are bad when you have to rely on Bendtner to come on and rescue you

Stu 20-08-2011 03:03 PM

£71 quid for a ticket at the Emirates. ****ing hell. No wonder the seats are so empty.

Locke. 20-08-2011 03:06 PM

The fans all dissapeared when it started raining :joker:

if Udinese beat arsenal in midweek then they are really ****ed they'll lose so much money and with no Champions league football less big name players will be interested likely leading to them not even qualifying for next seasons Champions league one of the most important games in their history when you look at it like that

bbfan1991 20-08-2011 03:10 PM

It gets even worse for Arsenal:joker:.

Liverpool top of the table, will it be their year as it's been claimed every year?:p

Locke. 20-08-2011 03:11 PM

No we will finish 3rd or 4th, Utd and City are the top 2.

Next season is our year

Boothy 20-08-2011 03:12 PM

I said it at the end of last season and I still think it now, Liverpool are the ones to watch this year. It wouldn't surprise me at all if they finished in the top 2.

Stu 20-08-2011 03:13 PM

Top 4 this year. Anything less would be a dissapointment. Next year is the one. Most Liverpool fans with half a screw were saying that last year.

Marc 20-08-2011 03:13 PM

If Arsenal win the premier league I will eat my own poo

Novo 20-08-2011 03:17 PM

It is City's next last season they are just about getting on Par with United right now but neither of them will win the league this season

 Yes I agree.

I think if he survives the season, this is likely to be Wenger's last season at Arsenal. It wasn't just that Liverpool,(who were well in the doldrums for a lot of last season but always find a way through it), beat them at home, it's the fact at home Arsenal didn't even get a goal.

All teams have to lift their game against Liverpool,Arsenal though looked demoralised and actually very weak now.

Marc 21-08-2011 09:14 AM

I reckon if they lose in playoffs/group stages in Champs League then he'll be off sooner than we think.

It's tough how they treat managers, but I guess if the supporters go off them then they have to go?

Shaun 22-08-2011 03:16 AM

It's not like he's had no opportunity to turn things around  he's spent the past 5-8 years in this "let's train up the youngsters" mentality which is very fun to watch until they retire or decide to bugger off in search of trophies. We haven't had a great goalkeeper since Lehmann left, and the defence went to **** after Campbell and Gallas both went AWOL.

I mean we've signed two unknowns this summer and lost Eboue, Clichy and Fabregas. Probably going to lose Nasri too.

BUY. YOU FOOL. BUY.

Locke. 28-08-2011 04:59 PM

How are you feeling right now Shaun?

Novo 28-08-2011 05:00 PM
