As CharlieO originally said, it takes away the feel of them being isolated from the outside world.

What I don't like:
The diary room location & how close the HMs will be to the front door meaning they can easily see and hear out during evictions. Plus the bath, and it's a bit too Summery for Winter BB.

Other than that I love it all.

If you thought of this you can guarantee they've thought of it. They've probably tried to make the house more sound proof?

Doogle 10-08-2011 11:14 PM

I hope so. I half-expect Brian to mention how close it is during the house tour now. :p

8/10. The garden & living area is one of the best yet. Not sure of the bedroom & bathroom. I can see where they're going with it, but I'm not sure the final result worked. The print on the bedroom wall kinda cheapens it. 3D frames and an incorporated damask print would have been better in the bedroom imo. Overall all tho... mood lighting + glossy glassy finish + funky furniture + overall coolness = WIN

Oh yes - I also despise the Diary Room location.

Is it too much to ask to have a Diary Room in the garden for once?
-wants one for BB13-

9/10

only fault is that housemates can see whos coming down the stairs.

Sophiee 11-08-2011 05:38 AM

It's nice but not greatly different from last year's.

rSlavenx 11-08-2011 01:22 PM

I like is as much as i liked BB11's house which was my favourite house.

I think seeing the new pics, I'm gonna have to re-rate and go for 5/10. Although I lurrv the stairs, sofas, kitchen & pool areal, the bathroom & bedroom is a disappointment and the prints on the walls look cheap. There's an obvious degree of shoddy workmanship, such as the exposed chip board, bare tube lighting and uneven astroturf. The space on a whole is far smaller than what it looked like when presented though the official pics last night and there are too many blank walls in the house (see: garden, bathroom and dining area) Also, part of the design looks rushed and amaeturish.
