I'm sure their parents feel they must have got something right. Lol! ;)

It's more than that and another half million each for this CBB too to add on.You are right naturally their parents will think they got things right with them.

for once we agree.

Ive always said theyre a bit creepy.

Someone is quite obsessed with them by the looks of it.

CaudleHalbard 21-08-2011 02:12 PM

Their parents keep a very close eye on them. Despite their personal wealth the boys are only allowed a modest amount of pocket money.

I would say Mr & Mrs Grimes know exactly what they are doing. The 3-part TV documentary on Jedward, a few months back, indicated to me they are extremely proud of their sons.

They've got a talent for making money at the moment but aware that their fame won't last forever. I do agree they need to grow up but sometimes in business sense because some of their fans are young kids (no stereotyping) having a childish manner sometimes doesn't harm;).

Whatever people think they seem polite and well mannered IMO..

CaudleHalbard 21-08-2011 02:19 PM

I think envy of a couple of teenagers, who have become wealthier than about 99% of the population, through just being hyper and jumping around has a part to play in Jedward-hatred! ;)

The moment they do that, they are finished.

What an absolutely ridiculous thread. Since when has it become illegal for youngsters to have fun? Okay they are very hyper but I don't think you have the right to get personal and bring up their parents. When your a parent, you love your children no matter what and I am sure they are very proud of what their son's have achieved.

How dare you say their mother should be ashamed, why should she be? Fair enough had they been involved in the recent London riots and caused crime, THEN I would agree but they are harmless and have done nothing wrong. I actually applaud them for setting a good example to youngsters by showing that you do not need to drink alcohol to have fun.

I seriously feel sorry for your poor children (if you have any), will they not be allowed outside of the house and have fun? Will they be classed as "weird" if they get too hyper? Seriously, you are the one with the problem not them.

CaudleHalbard 21-08-2011 02:22 PM

I would be proud to have sons like Jedward. :)

But it would be tiring! ;)

chuff me dizzy 21-08-2011 02:25 PM

Its a FACT they are 19 and still dress alike,Its FACT they are 19 and jump on other peoples beds ,its a FACT they are 19 and used a full bottle of washing up liquid in the bath, its a FACT they still share a bath, its a FACT they are weirdos

Exactly - they don't drink, they don't smoke, they don't do drugs, they are very polite, they are just nice boys who like to have fun. I think any parents would love to have children as nice as them.

It won't be long before one or both will be in the throes of a hardcore drug addiction.

A pair of future Lauren Harries. Mark my words.

I don't understand why their parents should be ashamed either :conf: Jedward are no diffferent to many a youngster having fun, in a lighthearted if at times maybe childish way, but I think that they just want to appeal with a wide spectrum of ages and show they are decent lads, working hard and at least making a living from it, and they just have an exuberance for life. I get some find them annoying, but that doesn't mean the lads are not likeable for that reason. I find many of my family and friends can be annoying :D but I still love them all to bits :)

Maybe Jedward should, smoke, get drunk/wasted, be aggresive louts, be nasty to the other housemates etc; ........... I don't understand just what is wanted of them by some :conf:

bbfan1991 21-08-2011 02:28 PM

The thing is Jedward weren't perfect on X-Factor and yes they did annoy people, controversial etc but some people are still heavily swayed by the highly manipulated image the producers wanted.

Simon Cowell knew what he was doing with them and the fact some people were putty in his hands. If people don't like the twins fair enough but XF knew they had to keep the twins in for business reasons then get rid of them halfway through and didn't care what people thought of that;).

Tom4784 21-08-2011 02:29 PM

I'm closing this as it's going to get nasty. Some people need to learn that their opinions aren't above others.
