I wouldnt say they were bullies no, more a pair of overgrown children.

However, it is interesting to think how everyone would be going on if another housemate had behaved the way they have

I said this about the egg thing (even though a lot havent seen it  ). If paddy or darryn had stomped into the room with a face like thunder and forcefully smashed an egg on someones head, or even roughly put one on someones neck...there would be ABSOLUTE hell on and everyone would be screaming for them to be removed. Afterall, there was a massive thread(I think it went on to 15 pages or something :o ) at DS about how it was so wrong and aggressive that paddy...shock horror...sat up when talking to someone

what did they do to the lovely Amy? Just when I thought I couldn't hate them more..

No, they're not bullies. No one in that house is a bully from what i've seen. They all seem to have a few dislikable qualities but I wouldn't suggest that anyone in there is a bully.

Zippy 05-09-2011 01:29 PM

they were obnoxious bullies back in the initial XF auditions. Louis coached them afterwards but their true colours still shine through. Ill mannered, self absorbed turds.

I agree with you, I made that point too earlier, this is the first CBB or BB series I have watched where I would say in fairness no housemate has really appeared to be a bully at all.

Darryn is definitely a bully. 2/3 of the housemates that have left have said that he tried to intimidate them and that he tried to scare them. If someone is said to be frightful and bullying by 66% of the people you've asked, i'd say that;s a bully.

Yes, I am well aware of that. However, if we saw a snippet of anyone else doing that...there would be hell on. thats my point...

I have warmed a bit to Darryn, I don't see anything he's done or said that would be deemed bullying, he's been forceful at times but not in a bullying fashion at all.To be fair.

Well there is uproar with the people that don't like them and not with the people that do...............as would happen with any other HM.

Suze 05-09-2011 01:46 PM

This thread is beyond silly and reminds me of the type of threads of DS rather than here. OP, if you have any 'ProfF', yes prove beyond a doubt that Jedward are bullies, than please do so, because I really hope that the Jeds read such an accusation, because that is just what it is, an accusation. I am going to vacate this daft thread now, and just hope it gets closed soonish.

Jordan. 05-09-2011 01:48 PM

LOL bullies, they're hardly intimidating are they

Zippy 05-09-2011 01:51 PM

rude and obnoxious certainly.

and why should the thread be closed? Just because you don't like the question? tough!

CaudleHalbard 05-09-2011 01:51 PM

It would be like bieng bullied by a couple of hamsters! :D

John and Edward were however severely bullied at school - so they probably know a bully when they see one.

They're extremely annoying. Not bullies though.

Funny how those who have lived with them, i.e. the other HMs, don't seem to think so.

Now, isn't that odd? ;)

I am far more annoyed with the vomit-inducing fauxmances which are being thrust upon us...............

Much as I dislike them: I couldn't class them as bullies though. They are open and happy to partake in the most disrespectful, aggrivating, filthy, slovenly behaviour - but no matter how I view all that, it doesn't quite hit the bully boy tactics.

whether they have been 'instructed' by the producers or not to act up - they are doing nothing good for their public image, that's for sure.

They know Jedward are popular with the public, and don't want the backlash going against them could cause.

As you very saliently pointed out over the last day or two on another thread: if older members (male or female) in the house behaved in the way these pair have done since they entered the house: unholy hell would have broken out on the outside world - with people shouting 'chuck them out'.

For some inane reason: the fact that they are 2 19year olds who should know better, who are acting like prize prats.... seems to be an endearing feature to some.

Bizarre world we live in.

What, you're suggesting the whole house allowed themselves to be bullied because they thought that would make the public happy? That theory is a tad flawed I think

Most likely. I just think the housemates probably watch themselves from getting too mad at them so they themselves don't come across as bullying two people who act like children.

Ahh gotcha, I misunderstood, I'm sure the other H.M.'s did hold their tongues on more than one occassion because of the cameras, I'm a Jedward fan but that doesn't mean I'm not aware of how asnnoying and irritating their behaviour would be to the people living with them. Yes I'm sure they held back to protect their popularity

Zippy 05-09-2011 02:30 PM

I think the other HMs now realise that the show is based around their antics and theyre just going along with it. In real life they would have decked them by now Im sure.
