Bloody letterboxes. years ago the postie forced something that was really too large: broke it.

When I contacted the P.O., they said buy a new one and we'll refund you, but you will need to actually replace it yourself.

Kinda like being in a car accident and the Insurance company saying: go buy a new wing and bonnet, we'll reimburse you, but you'll need to fit it yourself. :joker:

I remember once a sales person came to our house and instead of knocking, ringing the bell or slamming the letter box, he decided to open up the letter box and shout through the hole asking if anyone was in or not. It was kind of creepy.

I've got an unusual postbox that looks like a beehive. Consequently some people walk past it and push stuff through the cat flap. Annoyiiiiiing.

Seriously, yesterday I had this person I didn't even know slumped outside my door, then they stuck their hand through my letterbox and peered through. I think it was a druggie, or a Belieber.
