I saw this at the end of BOTS and found it just very odd, he can't be 100% straight to do something like that. At the end he says to Tom "don't pretend you didn't enjoy it" as if he did himself, too. :conf: I bet his ex isn't happy about this.

Well Gazza and Gary Neville just to name two people are 100% straight after doing something similiar it's just that some people don't care you can't start calling him gay after he sleeps with another man but not after a kiss whilst playing Chicken.. personally as a straight man i wouldn't do it but like i said some people don't mind it

I actually loved the fact that Aaron wasn't all big and macho about it: took it in his stride - and was comfortable enough to take it all in very good humour.

As your description of him above is how I see him too....and I agree, far from doing him harm (as a straight female, who finds him attractive, I saw this as nothing to be ashamed of, at all) - he may well attract more male viewers who thought he might be some sort of stick in the mud, with very straight laced views.

Aaron is clearly a good guy, through and through.

What?? so if you play a game and snog the face of a guy it means you are not gay. OKAY! He might not be gay but the fact is he snogged a man and not many men will do that game or no game.

And now he is up for eviction he is doing what he accused the others of doing, playing up. If he had not come across as holier than though I would have taken his actons with a pinch of salt, but as he acted like he was better than the others without giving them a chance then resorts to snogging another man when desperate to stay in the house makes me think he is nothing more than a hypocrite.

Maybe he's just comfortable with his (homo)sexuality.

What does that prove? Apart from the fact that regardless: he is comfortable within his own shell and confident enough to partake in some lighthearted fun.

The man is self assured with his own sexuality. He has made it clear that he fancies the pants off Louise. He may be bisexual. He may not be, he may be nothing more than comfy in his own sexuality without having to conform to the norm.

Not a thing wrong with that in my books.

I really dont care whether hes straight, gay or bisexual tbh, i dont support him because i want to sleep with him; i support him because hes a great housemate who is constantly surprising me, i didnt expect him to do that last night and thats a good thing!

If i turn on the TV knowing what im going to see from each housemate every time that would be a boring program and everyone would be moaning!! These people up in arms about a male/male snog are probably the same ones who accused Aaron of being a boring, stick in the mud!!! Aaron is a complex character who seems to have many many layers which are being stripped off the longer he is in the house and long may it continue!

Sexuality (e.g Gay, Bi, Straight.) is about whom one is attracted to/desires to be with. Not the physical actions they can perform. He may of kissed another man but it doesn't mean he is attracted to him because kissing is a physical action that isn't necessarily connected to emotions/sexual desires in anyway.

If it was two of the girls everyone would be loving it,so,imo who the hell cares, it was a bit of fun,people moan when people are dull.Aaron is still Aaron,it wouldn't put me off supporting him.

Great post totally agree with everything you've said.

It's just a game :spin2: if anything it shows he's more secure with his sexuality (which to the best of my knowledge is heterosexual?) if he can take part in games like this and not have any insecurities or fears of how he'd be perceived. Good on him. It doesn't mean he's necessarily attracted to Tom / other guys...

I am not up in arms about him kissing Tom. What gets me is the hypocrisy. Now he is up for eviction he is willing to behave a certain way. The others shrieked and got excited when given a party and Mr Cold looked down his nose at them and thought he was better than them because of it.

Then to save his bacon he snogs someone of the same sex regardless of the reaction it will cause. Big hypocrite much! The kiss is not the problem with me its the timing. Everyone was immature and not worthy of his time. IMO he has sunk to another level a lot worse than any of the others so far.!!
