not everyone knew he was saving it, he said he told some people he didn't make a public announcement. He will be over it in a day and will get something better to bring his kid that won't be stale. I didn't see any ill intent from Maisy and she did admit to it.

Angus 22-09-2011 08:01 AM

It's no-one's business why he wanted to keep the cupcake. It was HIS not that greedy little mare's, and as he said in the DR, it's the principle of people not showing consideration or respect for other people by touching others' stuff without permission. He correctly identified that many of the apparent "adults" in the house were in fact just spoilt, selfish brats. It is totally irrelevant whether she heard or didn't hear him say he was saving it - she knew fine well it was not hers. It is also totally irrelevant why he wanted to keep it - it was his and he can do what he likes with it without having to justify his decision to anyone else.

I can just imagine that selfish little madam's reaction if it had been the other way round, but because she is (apparently!) attractive, she thinks she can get away with anything. Glad that Aaron blanked her, an experience she will need to get used to in life with that attitude. Personally, I wouldn't have been so restrained.

fruit_cake 22-09-2011 08:03 AM

what a weird reaction..he's hardly going to be saving it for his son for two months I think he just made that up..then later he totally ignored Maisy when she was apologising to him.

What happend to the 'I want a real BB'??? It's beginning to seem that he can dish it out but he can't take it

He was brushing his teeth at the time.

(Not exactly the best way to have a discussion.)

So thats okay then? The trouble with some people is that they are so self centred and greedy they only think of themselves and not what is right or wrong! Whether Maisy admitted it or not is not the point. She had her cake and should not have touched Aarons cupcake.

All she has done is shown herself to be untrustworthy IMO.
She probably only admitted it because she thought it might be shown as BB is capable of anything.

It doesn't matter if he told anyone or not they had ,had theirs, greedy swines need to learn to keep their theiving mitts to themselves.

Absolutely right, she should have asked him first if she could have it rather than just take any of it.

Imagine somoee taking Jay's food, treat or beer for instance, there would likely be a riot. Its about the principle of respect and decency not just the issue of a single cupcake.

HBB1508 22-09-2011 08:45 AM

I find this typical of today's society - I want something so I take it regardless of who it belongs to. The cake was Aaron's and Maisy knew she had no right to it but wanted it so took it (well the icing anyway). She should be ashamed of herself and if I were Aaron I would have ignored her too.

Thanks! It's fun to be posting again, especially about what is shaping up to be a really good series.

lisa12000 22-09-2011 08:53 AM

thing is it happens again tonight, when Jays taking more beer than everyone else and Aaron gets annoyed again; Now Maisie is 19, and although that doesnt excuse her at all i can move on more from that then that lumbering oaf drinking twice as many beers when not an hour before he had complained that Heaven wanted some herbs for the cooking etc How would he have felt if Aaron had had 2 chickens to his one? there would have been riots;

He overeacted hugely which was really awkward to watch lol but as someone said, little things turn to huge things when youre in the house.

I wish he would stop going on about his 'little boy' no one gives a crap..

Niamh. 22-09-2011 09:35 AM

He did over react lets be honest but at the same time I understand where he's coming from too, I hate when people touch my stuff.

I hate it too. It's SO ill-mannered. It surprised me that someone thinks they have the right to stick their fingers into something that they know doesn't belong to them. I would have force-fed it to Maisey.

seemed to me that he was purposely ignoring her. I think everyone could see that. She shouldn't have stole his icing but she went out of her way to apologise. It must have been quite intimidating going in there after him.. but his reaction was way way over the top in my view.

She probably should have left him calm down abit first. He was obviously still angry. I think if she left it an hour or so or even till the next day she would have gotten a better reaction

that's true I agree it would be better later on but she obviously felt guilty and sorry for him so wanted to set things straight in the moment..everyone can make difficult judgements in the heat of the moment. His behaviour was very intimidating, especially to Maisy and all over a silly cake.

Livia 22-09-2011 09:50 AM

Intimidating? He walked away... and then he ignored her.

Being cute doesn't excuse Maisey manners. If there's one thing she knew about that cup cake, it was that it didn't belong to her.

Yeah, I agree. I understand where she's coming from too. It might make her think twice before she touches someone elses things again though! I know it's only a cake but I guess it's more about showing respect to other peoples belongings at the end of the day.
