Alex used to be in my "meh" group, I liked her when I found her funny, but overall I didn't hugely like her, but didn't strongly dislike her either.
She has moved into my "Like" group now though.
When she was crying her eyes out over Mark leaving, I felt sorry for her and thought she was showing a nice sensitive side[I don't like housemates who cry too much though!], she also comforted Aaron when he was crying after surviving his eviction and was saying that he had hoped he would see his son.
Sometimes the stupid things she comes out with annoy me, and I wonder if they are put on. Other times I find them funny, and I think she is clearly just taking the piss.
Overall though I have started to notice her caring side more, and I think she seems like a fairly sweet girl, hence why she's moved to my "Like" category.


She never seems to get involved in arguments but I think this could be because she doesn't seem to drink like the others.
Am I correct or incorrect in saying that she doesn't drink?
I remember in one of the earlier episodes, it showed the housemates dividing up the alcohol and when counting out the cans etc., Aaron said something like "and Alex doesn't drink, so that leaves this amount"

It was only a very brief sentence, and I don't know if they were referring that she wasn't drinking that night only, or that she just doesn't drink at all?
I always see her with the group when they are drinking, and I thought I saw a can of beer nearby her once, but I can't specifically remember seeing her drinking or ever getting tipsy. I have seen her drinking from glasses but I don't know if it was alcohol or water/juice that was in them.

I'm just interested because it seems most girls her age drink. She might just never drink for her own personal preferences or for medical reasons, but I would be interested to know if she usually drinks alcohol outside the house?

Because if she normally drinks but specifically chooses not to drink whilst in the BB house, I think this shows some good sense and maturity.
Some could argue that she doesn't drink so the her "true colours" won't come out on tv, or others could argue that she just doesn't want to make a tit of herself on national television.

Whatever her reason, Heaven did say she was more intelligent than people think, and if she doesn't drink for one of the above two reasons, then imo that does show that she actually more sense and awareness than the other girls in there. It would show that she is being careful not to lose any control of her actions or words whilst on tv. This could be perceived as a bad or a good thing depending on how you view it.

However if it is the case that she just doesn't drink, and never does outside the house either, or if it is the case that she just wasn't drinking that particular night, and that she has drank alcohol in the BB house that I have just been too blind to notice :blush2:, then of course there is nothing really significant about it at all. I have never seen her drunk or tipsy in there though.

i think she finds it funny to wind up the other housemates in a funny way rather than a malicous nasty way its all just playing with her she is actually relishing her time being in the big brother house and not taking it to seriously i think if she did win it she would be more shocked than any other housemate so tbh i dont think she has a game plan

..she's just playing along with what the other H.M's think she is...she's not pretending to be stupid..she just plays with them....she's not fake..that's who Alex is....

Alex is an absolute-angel!....and even if she turns out to be a crafty-genius in the end...then that would be even more reason for admiration!
But I really believe her to be ...what you see!....Unlike many other winners...Do you still think that Darling-Josey or Brian Bell-end was genuine????...I think not!...and Alex is for my money...a lot more lovable than those two Winners!!

If she is faking it - then I personally prefer someone who fakes it by being nice and easy going than someone who fakes it by playing the faux romance card. No contest in my book.

One is much sadder and disingenuous than the other.

I dont think she is fake at all.... she isnt stupid...she plays along with the others 'thinking' she is stupid.
I like her but hope she doesnt win....she hasnt bought much to the show....she sits on the fence a bit too much imo...

I dont understand Alex, she comes across as someone with a very low iq, YET!!! she must have passed the air hostess exam,which is very difficult,so i am led to believe.
She seems a lovely girl and not exactly the best of the bunch, but she must be alot more clued up than she lets on,to do that job.:nono::shocked:

For the record, Alex is tee-total....she does'nt like the taste of alcohol and she drinks water or soft drinks...

Well all I can say is that she might act up on the blonde bimbo bit, but as far as I'm concerned, she's the best female in the house - and is the one who seems to get on with everyone - and she's doing you proud - even with all her 'acting dumber than she is'. If that's her game plan - more power to her.

She deserves a place in the final.

I somehow think Alex's mum might know her better than you think you do fruit_cake.
