And she knows how to laugh and have a good craic with all of the housemates. Neither does she get blind drunk and make a fool of herself, or go around groping men's crotches when she's bladdered, and hang all over them like a rash.

Lots of reasons to like Alex - certainly in comparison to Faye for example.

She isn't dumb, she doesn't have much common sense with a lot of things, but that doesn't make her stupid. And is there any need for that comment I have bolded?

She's the best female in the house - been saying it for weeks and weeks. I'd have clones of Alex rather than the other deadbeat types we've had since the show started.

I like Alex too,would be happy for her to win,she doesn't seem to come with the "Touch me not,I'm temptation" lable the others girls do,she is down to earth and sees the good in people from what I have seen she seems a really nice girl and far surpasses the fame wannabees in there.

Yes, she would be a good housemate to live with as she is considerate, but she is not very interesting to watch.

Maybe we will see more of her as the more extreme personalities are evicted, but for now i struggle to see why she would win as she is very forgetable.

She is funny to watch, they don't show enough of her, but at the same time that is a good thing or people would only moan that Alex is being more airtime than everyone else.

Then you had better hope the mods don't pick up on it, and continue through the alphabet until they get to I.

I don't think she is forgettable, I think she has had some of the funniest moments in there, the Willy Wonka one being an example :D She doesn't have to be upfront and in your face to still get noticed, she doesn't have to bed hop to find a storyline, she is clever enough to do her own thing to get to those finals and it works without having to step on other housemates, that is why I find her likeable :)

Some people need to understand that entertainment is subjactive. You can't say you want Aaron to win because he entertains you then be surprised other people want Alex to win for the same reasons. People have different reasons for liking certain housemates and it has always been clear to me that Alex fans find her funny, unpretentious and down to earth.

well I'd say that everyone has some redeeming quality even if the whole complete character isn't particularly nice

if you read this thread a lot of people have said she is funny..I suppose you have to have the right sense of humour I just find it :sleep:

Maybe i am just too cynical, i am unsure about the Willy Wonka story being genuine.

I like that she speaks her mind and does not get influenced by other HM's, such as Jay moaning about Aaron to her in the garden.

I just need to see more of her before i am convinced at the moment.

I think she was taking the pee with that story, deadpan dry wit, my favourite kind :D that is why I find it so funny and love how she manages it so well :D

when she was speaking with Aaron and Harry about that....it was all a big wind up - as indicated when Harry mentioned the Aristocats and she said with lightning speed, "Now you're being stupid Harry, cats can't talk, everyone knows that"........ then she and Aaron looked at each other and high fived - she's at the piss take and they knew it too.
