Yes, and like I say game playing is fine, but the truth is the game he is really playing is on the voters as much as it is on the house. It is his FANS he is playing.

Aaron treats the public like morons, ready to be manipulated and used by his carefully calculated camera time.

I personally am not interested in giving my money to save someone who obviously considers his fans morons.

He is laughing at all his fans in everything he does.

A hell of alot has happened since the original Big Brother imo, that truly was a social experiment, it changed into a platform for a bunch of desperate wannbes to further or start careers and get magazine deals. So for people to treat it as what it is ie a game show is refreshing imo, I've said the same about the game Anton is playing.

Anton is different though.

He is playing the game against the house and including the public.

Aaron is playing the public.

I just prefer Anton's approach. As a viewer it is more honest and involves less of fans being treated like morons and being secretly laughed at by the HM in question.

Again, that's your opinion on it. But some would see it as Aaron is playing a game and not being as nasty about it as Anton is. I'm pretty sure most of them are playing some sort of a game, maybe not to the extent Aaron and Anton are but still playing non the less. Louise for example, she's playing a game imo. No way is she into Jay, she's trying to compete with the couples angle. Alex, I believe is acting more stupid than she actually is.

Not sure about this one, yes they all have an agenda, Aaron has a game, but if he was playing the public 100% of the time, would he risk losing the public with long sulking periods, moods and periods were he even stops talking to his friends.

Some people say the same about Alex, that her 'playing dumb' is a game, is she playing the public for fools as well.

Anton is more honest about his game, he loves the theatrics and loves his monologues in the DR, but no one in the history of BB as far as i know has won this way, they become memorable HM's, but never win as they alienate too many of the public who see the real person, so fooling the public is probably the best plan, but good luck trying to fool them 24 hours a day, you rely heavily on favourable edits for when your true personality shines through. Live feed would have addressed so many of these issues, but maybe this series should be viewed as more of a scripted soap drama than a social experiment.

Both Aaron and Anton are marmite characters, you love them or hate them, i doubt anyone is indifferent to them, both have made the series so far in my opinion.

Aaron's assumes people watching are fools and can be played... he is just cold. Oh, he knows how to switch the apprearence of being otherwise on and off as needed, but he is probably the most calculating HM we have ever seen in there. He uses, maintains, and discards as and when needed.

Not to sound like a broken record here but that's just your take on it, just because you think it doesn't make it right. I'm not naive enough to believe that everything I think is right either.

But tbf he did tell people that he'd be playing a game at the start so I don't see what your problem with him doing just that is. And why do you think people aren't aware of what he's doing and just like him because they think he's pretty clever? Everyone has their own reasons for liking a HM, I just don't like this lumping everyone in the same box and saying "Oh they're idiot teenagers they only like him cos he's fit" etc etc.

I am just giving a valid opinion, same as you do in all kinds of threads. Please stop telling me 'it's your take' on it though. I KNOW it's my own take on it, and thats why I offer the take up for discussion. We are here, on a discussion forum, to discuss our own takes on the HMs and the show after all.

A lot of folks obviously think he is playing the house, as well as those who think he is 100% genuine. They obviously don't get that they themselves are being manipulated by him... because they have been manipulated. Thats how it works.

I think it's a fair point actually. You're implying you know how people think and why they all like Aaron. People are individuals, there isn't just one reason why they like him.

I dont think anybody is silly enough to believe the drivel that Aaron serves up i just feel sorry for faye she is being used by that dickhead.

It's why Aaron does so well.

I'm an Aaron fan and object to people saying because we are fans we are being manipulated,we like Aaron for our own reasons which is every bit as valid as your reasons for liking your fave housemate,I could easily say you are being manipulated who knows?but I am grown up enough to know that different people appeal to different people,we are not stupid and IF I thought that about Aaron I would not support him,so we are not morons and Aaron knows it,IF he was thinking like that about us he would not do some of the things he does,he would try and curry favour and from what I have seen he doesn't.
