I kinda feel like I have to go, life seems to pass me by so quickly these days

Well go then!!

It's not exactly a difficult decision to make really - go out on your own, or stay in on your own?

I'm not really sure why there appears to be such a dilemma over it or not.... I'm being serious.

It's not always easy to make a snap decision, I'm ridiculously indecisive

don't you ever have times when you don't want to do something because of nerves or whatever, but you know you should because it'll be worth it in the end?

You've just got to weigh up the pros and cons and consider the best and worst thing that could happen. Then see which comes out on top. But if you feel you'll regret not going you should just go for it, and if you don't like it you can always leave, and at least you went out for a bit.

Going to close this to clean, will reopen in a sec..

Ok reopened, this thread's just for discussing whether people are going out tonight, there's no need for it to be turned into an argument, keep it friendly

To answer your question: nope, not when it comes to making the choices you do in regards to what you have mentioned here yourself - nope.

You can go dancing any night. You can't go see fireworks any night. If i was you, I'd be opting for fireworks.

Yes you can.

Other mods know how to do it. They've done it for me before.

Edit: See!! thanks to whoever added it in, much appreciated.

One things for sure: I'll not be watching BB, it's rot on a Saturday night - i think that's something we probably all agree on!

Maia 05-11-2011 03:21 PM

Staying in. Although the thought of going to a firework display would be nice, I have no way of getting to one

I can see if from my conservatory - and if I go upstairs - I get to see the whole show - as well as hearing the music.

But the atmosphere is missing, but some of the shows/rides -seeing all the kiddies.... and the hotdogs.

mmmm..... I can see my and my mate leaving the moggies to cower and head off down the back!!

:D

No need for the rollie eyes. I merely confirmed that it was able to be done since you thought it wasn't possible.

Are you going out tonight Eoin?

Ach you don't know the fun you are missing.

It's a great atmosphere - watching all the kiddies wee faces light up with excitment, swirling their little sparklers, (and some of them bloody terrified and crying ...ooops).

The scent in the air, the feel good factor even when everyone is freezing their socks off - and then walking back home again, as I said earlier: even better muching on a hot chippy meal, soaked with vinegar and salt.

:spin:
