So many threads on something that hardly anyone on here even cares about. This must be a record

Usually something boring and poo that you post holds the record.

-burn-

I'm so good with the insults.

Locke. 20-03-2012 12:01 AM

You are about as good at insults as Scott is at acting straight

Brother Leon 20-03-2012 12:35 AM

I genuinely couldn't care.

Sorted a summer holiday out asap to avoid all of this Olympics crap.

Will literally be a 30-60 second walk from my house, good stuff

Niall 20-03-2012 06:24 AM

Greenwich/Waltham Forest is the closest it's coming to me.

Angus 20-03-2012 07:42 AM

How exciting - I've marked 23rd July, around 9.15 a.m on my calendar, when it will be coming up London Road, Bromley. I'll have a grandstand view from my balcony!

Olympic torch parade

Who gives a ****?

It's a ****ing torch.

King Gizzard 25-05-2012 10:01 PM

I love a good torch parade http://i.imgur.com/UWDup.gif

Livia 25-05-2012 10:05 PM

It's not about the torch, it's about the flame. It's symbolic, innit.

Jesus. 25-05-2012 10:19 PM

It's a ****ing torch. I've just seen on the news, people lining the streets of Malvern. I know Malvern is a village, but **** me, they must have a B&Q where the locals can go an see such things.

Although in Malvern, they were probably hypnotised by the fire, and thught it was witchcraft.

Livia 25-05-2012 10:20 PM

Get into the spirit, grumpus.

The Olympic torch

Have any of you had or are having the Olympic torch coming through your town?We have it coming down out street tomorrow and I must admit I am quite looking forward to it,the little ones are so excited and hopefully if the weather keeps fine there will be some celebrations.

Lee. 29-05-2012 09:05 PM

Its going past my mums house at some point but we're going to miss it as we're on holiday. :(

Jack_ 29-05-2012 09:12 PM

I think it's coming here in July. Hopefully I'll go see it.

I know it's just a torch and in reality it is kinda ridiculous really, but it's still exciting.

It's been through here, we had LMFAO here too :) But i was at school and the Teachers wouldn't let anyone leave without a note. -_-

I actually think that's quite pathetic.

A once in a life time opportunity, something which they also could've spun from an educational perspective and made a school trip out of it, and they refuse to let people go? Probably just me - but I think that's quite unfair.

Though in saying that I expect my school would have done (and possibly will do) the same. Pulled the same kind of stunt before.

Came through Bath last Tuesday :)

there were supposedly tens of thousands along the streets to see it - seems a bit exaggerative, but there were easily 1000 just by the Abbey (which is in the city centre)

https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net...99503563_n.jpg

everyone was taking photos hence my struggle with a camera-phone

and there were people waving flags on top of the abbey :D it was a really nice day, first day of the really radiant sunshine here

Yeah i was extremely annoyed. :(

Niall 29-05-2012 09:27 PM

I don't think its coming really close to my house. It might be passing through Romford or Barking (which are both near me) though.

But I'm going to Dublin to see my Mum next week (she lives in the city centre), and I think its going really close by her apartment building whilst I'm over there.

Shaun 29-05-2012 09:28 PM

why's the GB torch going through Dublin? :suspect:
