Great news.

Hopefully this is just an online vote on the x factor site and not a phone vote.

GypsyGoth 09-11-2011 08:50 PM

I like this idea.

King Gizzard 09-11-2011 08:50 PM

Think they should of left it as it is, they didn't make the grade the first time, acts have been eliminated since them, what's the point/ how is it fair?

Doogle 09-11-2011 09:09 PM

2 shoes plz (jk but it'd be nice to be back in the sweepstake competition)

Amelia

Mystic Mock 09-11-2011 09:14 PM

Hopefully Amelia will return with a last on slot to give her a chance of survival.

dannyboy 09-11-2011 09:21 PM

I'm glad it's only between acts who never faced a public vote. This lot were rejected by their mentors in the crappest twist anyway. And if Amelia or whoever gets through isn't up to standard, then they'll just go again on sunday. If not, it's good that they're getting another chance. Johnny, the Risk and all that were eliminated the usual way, so tough cookies that they're not in the running, I say! Hope Amelia is back, and think she will be. James and 2 shoes have an outside chance, Jonjo no way I'm afraid!

MeMyselfAndI 09-11-2011 09:26 PM

YESSSS! I have someone to support since Sophies gone

Z 09-11-2011 09:30 PM

Actually can't get over how ridiculous this is - whoever wins this will be plugged to **** on the live show so that they avoid the bottom two, and then they'll be out the following week - making it unfair on whoever goes out before they do and making it unfair on everyone who has been eliminated to date. I'm starting to wonder if Frankie was only taking whatever the producers are on that's helped them come up with all these silly ideas this year.

Mystic Mock 09-11-2011 09:48 PM

Frankie has been acting all the way through this show as the little prick looked uncomfortable being a so called rocker lol.

lilytulips 09-11-2011 10:12 PM

Bring Johnny Back!

:hello:I rather see johnny back it was exciting to see him every week getting better and better, I do not necessary mean him to win but he was good and very entertaining.

Mystic Mock 09-11-2011 10:17 PM

Welcome to the forum Lilytulips.

I would much prefer this idea than Kitty facing Johnny again.

Marc 09-11-2011 10:30 PM

oooh.. well Amelia is back then.

-holds out for 2Shoes- :joker:

Marc 09-11-2011 10:35 PM

Amelia 5th favourite to win already.

Not even back in yet

Maia 09-11-2011 10:37 PM

Still desperate to keep viewers I see.

Amelia will definitely be back.

StraightEdge695 09-11-2011 11:20 PM

really hope amelia comes back she shouldent of even been eliminated week 1 anyway,,,

Vicky. 10-11-2011 11:18 AM

This is so unfair on the others.

Whoever goes back in will be straight on the tour, when they might have been voted out beforehand if they ad been in the comp to start with

They have basically been fast tracked to halfway through the show.

Marc 10-11-2011 11:25 AM

They may as well just give Amelia the spot and save everybody the effort.

I agree with Vicky, it's unfair that they are now on tour

Jordan. 10-11-2011 12:40 PM

Amazing!!!!

Kelly best not get to mentor Amelia though :idc:

Adamw92 10-11-2011 01:05 PM

They held a poll on This Morning then revealed the results at the end, Amelia had over 50% to return! :amazed:

A four-way phone vote for the act to replace Frankie Cocozza on The X Factor will open this afternoon (November 10).

At a London press conference, it was confirmed that the poll between Amelia Lily, Jonjo Kerr, James Michael and 2 Shoes will open at 4pm today and close during Saturday's live show.

22p from each phone vote will be donated to Help For Heroes, which works to provide better facilities for wounded British servicemen and women.

Head judge Gary Barlow said: "I don't think any of us here are guilt-free with Frankie... I'm always on the phone. I just hope he's okay.

"I can't follow Frankie around all week... we've all encouraged Frankie to be bad... I do feel sorry."

Cocozza was axed from the show on Tuesday amid rumours that he had bragged about taking cocaine.

Barlow added: "Frankie was silly. But I'm a parent. He's got to live with this forever, so I feel guilty about that."

Tulisa Contostavlos defended Barlow, explaining that Cocozza's mentor was "not a babysitter".

During the conference, Barlow explained that legal reasons prevent the panel from revealing which 'golden rule' Cocozza had broken, while Walsh explained that it was a "lack of professionalism".

Walsh, who had frequently been critical of Cocozza's live show performances, added: "It's a pity. I loved Frankie's first audition."

Judge Kelly Rowland, who eliminated Lily in week one, said: "It's really good that these acts get a second go... we have bonded with these acts."

Of the suggestion that the wildcards have an "unfair" advantage over the acts already in the competition, Rowland added: "Everyone has to come out swinging. It should bring everyone up a notch."

If anything its unfair on the contestant that returns.
They haven't had the chance to keep gaining fans & will have lost fans. Also the contestant hasn't had the experience or anything.

Its more unfair on the risk(and those who have recently left) than anyone.

They narrowly missed out on the tour. And now someone who was kicked out before them is guaranteed a place :bored:

Well theese contestants weren't voted by the public. The public can't complain they didn't lose their money, The Risk were voted out fairly. Also Amelia had a great chance of winning and it's unfair she was voted out by one persons opinion, when she could of stayed and built up her fanbase and won. Now she returns with only half of her fanbase, & Will most likely come 6th.

MeMyselfAndI 10-11-2011 04:08 PM

Anyway, why are you complaining, Atleast someone with talent is going to replace Frankie, It's better her (Or James) than someone who can't sing.

Strictly Jake 10-11-2011 04:54 PM

yeah thats a good point would rather watch amelia then frankie on saturday so its not too bad if she comes back. Would rather have her on tour then frankie. I just hope johnny and the risk get put on the tour too
