That must be an English thing - pubs are generally closed on 25th up here in the sticks

They open 12-2 then at night a bit here. But that is quite old skool, it's changing now seen as not a lot of the traditional pubs are left

My (now deceased) auntie was always funny at Xmas when I'd go visit...........she'd insist on giving me a can of Tennents lager from her 'special collection' stored right next to the heating boiler. HMMMMMM - a warm can of beer with a sell-by date of 1978 of so :joker:

InOne 20-11-2011 03:31 AM

People seem to prefer the stronger stuff around xmas

Kerry 20-11-2011 03:35 AM

Warm alcohol :yuk:

InOne 20-11-2011 03:37 AM

Get some Polish Pure Spirit in Joe - google it - it is 79.9%. I just googled + one of the hits came back "nail polish remover".

Maybe I've bored you with our game before but here it is again...........You get a shot glass of Polish Pure and have to dip little finger into it. Then set light to little finger. Only allowed to blow it out after you've done the nip down InOne. The fun bit is that this stuff makes you unable to exhale - totally body-crunching - so you can make the players get 3rd degree burns when they can't exhale to put finger out :joker:
