The other theme is "Club Classics" again, ffs.

They are truly cocking this up.

Hopefully this time it actually is club classics and they have Misha doing something like Numb/Encore instead of Proud Mary, Amelia doing something like Show Me Love, Janet doing House of Pain etc :joker: Would also love to see Marcus do When Love Takes Over by Kelly

Big Band Week needs to return, that was always one of, if not the best.

Kerry 22-11-2011 12:36 AM

So who's for Michael Jackson and who Diana Ross?

I used to dislike Big Band Week in the early series (probably my age) then I grew to love it :joker:

Mystic Mock 22-11-2011 04:16 PM

From the X Factor website

Quote:

Yes, this weekend, our scrumptious Final Five will be taking on a funky Motown classic from the likes of the legendary Jackson 5 and one finalist in particular will be hoping to hit the high notes with a timeless Diana Ross hit.

Expect the unexpected on Saturday as our finalists brush their hair into their finest 'fros and pull out all the stops to put on the show of their lives. Dramarama!

Will Janet impress again with the right balance between Upbeat and ballad? Can Little Mix hit the high notes for another week? And just how many times will Kelly say "You owned that stage gurl!"

And this week the finalits will be aiming to impress THREE very special guests on Sunday's show; the wonderful Kelly Clarkson, the Motown inspired and very dapper Bruno Mars as well as a special hip hop treat from Proffessor Green.

And the only way to see what happens is to tune into ITV1 at 8.15pm on Saturday to see our Finalists take to our famous X Factor stage once more.

And as if that wasn't enough pressure for our Final Five, the contestants will also be aiming to show how much they have grown as artists with the second theme of Audition Songs. The judges will be looking for acts which have truly improved, as the competition reaches its final stage.

Excitement has already reached fever-pitch here at the X Factor studios, so we can't imagine how you are all feeling at home!

Cancel your plans, put the mobiles on silent, shut the curtains and hang a Do Not Disturb sign outside - this is one weekend of X Factor mania you will not want to miss.
Hmm interesting...

Callum 22-11-2011 05:09 PM

Audition songs could be good actually, that hasn't been done before has it?

Ryan. 22-11-2011 05:11 PM

I don't think so Callum, should be a good one!
Pity we can't speculate on song choice now... :D

That's not a bad idea, but it'd only be good after Kitty was gone. :p

Locke. 23-11-2011 04:47 PM

This weekend's X Factor quarter-final will have two themes: Guilty Pleasures and Heroes.

It was previously reported by This Morning's Jeff Brazier that the final five acts would be singing Motown classics, but that has proved incorrect.

All five acts - Janet Devlin, Marcus Collins, Amelia Lily, Little Mix and Misha Bryan - will be performing two tracks on Saturday (November 26) for the first time in the series.

Jeff and his dodgy info :bored:

Visage 23-11-2011 05:21 PM

Guilty pleasures sounds a little.....worrying.

Ninastar 23-11-2011 05:23 PM

so they aren't singing motown?

ffs :bored:

MusicXian 23-11-2011 05:23 PM

What exactly does a guilty pleasure film entail?

Black Dagger 23-11-2011 05:51 PM

Pfft Guilty Pleasures... aren't exactly guilty.

Who'd feel guilty about listening to Led Zep, ****ing useless Cheryl.

Mystic Mock 23-11-2011 08:27 PM

These two themes have been used to death, why cant they seem to come up with brand new themes?
