Has Matt Cardle flopped?

Matt Cardle hasn't done as well as expected at all, and he will flop big time in the coming years, just wait and see.

To be fair, if One Direction can't win, who had ****ing obsessed, strange fans who voted in their droves, I don't see how Lil Mix can?

Hope they do though, it'd be nice for a likeable girl-group to break the curse.

Another great point, 1D had MUCH more support and still didn't win - no chance for these girls :(

You have to bear in mind though, when we had the top 5 of last series, we only had Cher who had been in the bottom two before; Mary, Matt, Rebecca and 1D had all avoided it up until then. Then Mary was put out, so the final had a three horse race as opposed to the usual two horse race with third place being predictable - whereas this year we've been left with a top 4 that has two acts who have yet to appear in the bottom two, thus suggesting they have strong support, and two acts who have (one on more than one occasion) - so the chances are, they are at least going to reach the top two. I get the feeling that Marcus' support has been growing over the weeks and he'll end up being the dark horse winner, but at this moment in time I think both Marcus and Little Mix are probably on a similar playing field (Marcus maybe in the 30-40% of the vote bracket in Little Mix in the 20%-30% bracket) and when it comes down to the final, things really heat up. Support gets transferred on the final night. Rebecca seriously narrowed the gap on Matt Cardle in the final last year.

I have hope, escaped B2 again so there support must be continuing to grow!! :D

I don't agree, sure One Direction were expected to do well last year but they didn't have the support that Little Mix have got I can assure you of that.

Go back to The X Factor poll for last year and you'll see that Matt Cardle topped it with Rebecca Ferguson 2nd and One Direction 3rd. Everyone was expecting One Direction to win but it was just hype, at the end of the day they didn't have the hard core of supporters that Little Mix have got.

I did 2 seperate counts of all the comments that were posted on Facebook over the weekend and both times it came out very similar with only 1% difference between the 2 surveys. I've done this before with other reality shows and it's been a really accurate guide as to public opinion.

This is how it worked out:

Little Mix.................. 36%
Marcus Collins........... 30%
Amelia Lily................ 23%
Misha B................... 11%

The only worry would be that the supporters of Little Mix are of a younger demographic than Marcus Collins and it's possible therefore that their supporters won't vote as many times, if at all, and with only 6% between them, that could swing it for Marcus, but as it stands at the moment Little Mix are in with a really big shot at winning, far more than One Direction last year.

Little Mix is cute but some of them need to lose weight.

I can only see Marcus winning, he is going to get the vast majority of female votes anyway,Littlemix will do well though for a girlgroup on X Factor.

I do like Amelia but didn't like her being brought back in, so for me I don't want her to win and I certainly don't want Misha to either, clearly,the times Misha has been in the bottom 2,neither do the voting public.

I hate when girls who are not stick thin get commented on in this way. They are all attractive in their own ways and I wouldnt call any of them fat.

None of them are even fat, even Jesy isn't fat... Craig and Misha are far bigger than Jesy but they don't get commented on for their weight.

Jesy is not fat at all, just the other 3 are super skinny. They have been hinting at doing this since week 2, the old I am fat, someone help me thing (then in week 4 made it even more sympathetic, then last week with Beautiful was the icing on the cake VT). I am sure Craig got bullied far more in school for his weight than frigging Jesy. I like Little Mix, but they are producers first choice to win this show so I dont want them too :p They will geta record deal now anyway whatever happens.

Marcus, Amelia, LittleMix final 3 and in that order of finishing.

I am only looking forward to Littlemix's career after the show has finished, the others can go away :idc:

Disgusting, especially as youre implying 'some' so you think 1 of Perrie/Leigh-Anne/Jade needs to lose weight!? Seriously? Jesy isnt 'fat' shes a bit chubby and probably would feel more comfortable losing a bit of weight but in no way does she need to just to 'fit in'.

Jesy is the only one that could do with losing a bit of weight to make their image better it just looks weird sometimes when she covers up her legs and the others don't when they are wearing skirts but last week ( i think ) was the first time she didn't

Sophie has been doing load of gigs and stuff, she should really get a contract somewhere along the line even if she went out so early, like Janet I think she had something so unique in her voice and the way she sings. This love of Misha has just been sickening recently, there are so many artists like her nowadays, while people who want to bring something new like Sophie and Janet are condemned by the show.

I know the bully stuff may have hurt Misha in the votes, but I honestly doubt she would be doing much better now anyway, for this very reason. She is a very good singer, don;t get me wrong, but she brings nothing new to the table.

That's exactly the view of society at the moment that makes girls want to be anorexic or self harm.

Jesy isn't fat and doesn't need to lose any weight. :rolleyes:

I would love Sophie to get something. I know she's being doing the normal gigs here and there but she deserves much better with her voice. (In my opinion obviously :tongue:)

I want Sophie and The Risk to be signed but I dont think theres much chance :sad:

you must be blind or something compared to the other 3 she is definitely classed as overweight.. and my point is it doesn't look good when she has to cover herself up when they are performing and it might be a blunt view but it is certainly better then saying " she isn't fat " when she clearly is

That entirely subject to individual preference of how people like to see women. You have no merit to come into this thread and say that she's fat. It's people like you that make her feel sad and depressed with your (in my opinion) narrow minded view on women.

I like Little Mix, however, I do think in the long run for their best interests it will be best not to win (let Marcus or Amelia have the pressure;)). They will think otherwise and understandably will want to win...

Little Mix have a lot of potential and will get a record deal regardless if they make the final IMO!

it is my opinion and what i see is someone who drags the other three down by moaning about how she looks all the time.. every week she says something about it.. just do something about it and lose weight and give the band a better image if you are so concerned about it.. and it's people like me who tell the truth narrow minded or not rather then the same old ****e " she isn't even fat honestly!! " that won't be helping her out but a few low fat breakfast bars will
