I think they just wanted rid of her and they have showed this since day, so making this go to deadlock even would have been such bs. I do also think Misha came bottom of the public vote, but judges have said so much crap about Janet and so much rave reviews about Misha for the last 5 weeks that it would have been difficult to accept them taking this to deadlock. Soon as they said Janet and Misha B2 it was obvious who was going.

Cherie 27-11-2011 09:30 PM

Janet knew she was going, her eyes said it all, we didnt really need to go to the Judges, Kelly would have gone up in my estimation if she had sent Janet home, it was ridiculous what she did as she was sending her home anyway...silly mama.:joker:

Meh.. we all know(knew?) she favours(ed?) Misha :joker:

stewart64 28-11-2011 09:34 AM

Hasn't done her any favours, hasn't done Misha B any favours.

I suppose the judges can't admit that if Misha B gets into the bottom two she gets through 100% correct, guaranteed. Makes a complete farce of the phone in. Perhaps voters should demand their money back. Is it not conceivable that some voter liked the other four and voted for them in equal measure, yet they were one hundred percent guaranteed to be wasting their money, with the judges favouritism. Misha B is the next Aretha Franklin and you voters can get your minds educated and ****** off.

I agree, Kelli really hasn't helped Misha by abstaining to vote. It's possible now many Janet fans will hold it against Misha, and it's not really her fault at all

BTW Misha would have been saved against Amelia aswell. She has been the No.1 girl since Tulisa and Louis' comments for some reason. Production obviously feel she has more to offer.

I didnt get it when Tulisa said, I am keeping the one who I think can sell more albums, and sell out tours... shes been in the bottom 2 three times now FFS, the public obviously dont like her enough for that. Doubt she will be selling out any tours anytime soon. Maybe after a break from XF and learning how to come over more likeable.

Exactly, the other judges have made similar comments throughout the series, are they deluded, she is not popular at all, if they manage to fluke her into the final it will spoil my enjoyment, I would much rather see Amelia, Marcus and Little Mix. Small consolation, she will be out first anyway, surely they realise this, it's pointless. As for a career after X Factor, Janet has far more chance of making it than Misha, yes Misha does have talent, but is not at all enjoyable to watch, has a horrible personality, she is like a sly snake. Urgh. Lol.

Besides that, as said, there are ten to the dozens of Misha's out there... while Janet has quite a niche and is far more unique, yeah sure maybe its not attractive to the whole industry, and she is a bit like marmite, however there are many people out there who like this kind of style of voice and her kind of music.

A marmite contestant will always do better afterwards imo over someone that everyone thinks is alright, being alright won't sell albums. I hope Janet proves the them all wrong and becomes a success. I feel really bad for how she was treated throughout the live shows, It's no wonder she was feeling ill on Saturday

fruit_cake 28-11-2011 10:39 AM

Misha does seem a bit of a jackie of all trades but a master of none

Ammi 28-11-2011 10:43 AM

Having watched Janet's interviews this morning, I think the direction she wants to take her music would conflict with how TXF would want to market her, so in the long run maybe it's best that she's out and can pursue her career the way she wants to....

I think you're right Ammi, It was very obvious that the show was really taking it's toll on her as well. I hope she does well though.

Good point, hope it works out well for her.

I respect Louis. He seems to be the only judge who will vote for one of his acts in that situation. Kelly and Cheryl before simply are cowards.

You have obviously not watched past X Factors then. Louis started it all off by refusing to choose between two of his acts. So do you still respect the little wishy washy judge? They get paid for doing a job, if they don't do it, then they should get pay docked and/or get the sack.

This has been obvious since about week 3, when TXF have been trying everything in their powers to ensure Janet los her grip on the votes and slid down to the bottom 2 and they could get rid of her at the first opportunity. Obviously up until the Live Shows they probably saw Janet as a sweet singing puppet who they could manipulate, but TXF havent been afraid of saying how Janet will not be persuaded into things by the production or stylists and shined a negative light on this fact in her VTs (making her out to be argumentative and boring).

I agree, at first what I loved about her was her voice..but she has showed she is her own person and very focused and determined for someone so young..she has the talent and determination to go far, TXF has served it's purpose and I don't think she needs it anymore. TXF is more for the generic artists..they dont know how to market individual artists like Janet

IheartBB 28-11-2011 11:29 AM

I don't think it was sneaky, I think it was just plain stupid.

Janet was a goner. There was nothing Kelly could have done about it. Louis sealed her fate with the very first vote. So the smart thing for Kelly to do would have been to just send Janet home and make Misha B believe that she has complete faith in her. By not voting, what has she achieved? Janet may feel a bit better but it what about Misha, the relevant act who is still in the competition? Misha is the only person who should matter to Kelly now, and she failed to realise this when she could have just sent home the weaker act.

MusicXian 28-11-2011 11:32 AM

Being fair to Kelly, I do think Misha is her favourite obviously, but I also do think she got on with Janet in this past week, maybe more so than before, she seemed more supportive of her this week than she has for the past 4 or 5 weeks. Misha will not mind, she knows Kelly is fully backing her, but that will not be enough anyway.

Mystic Mock 28-11-2011 04:00 PM

Kelly was watching to much Cheryl Cole when doing this imo.

Z 29-11-2011 12:31 AM

Kelly Rowland is only concerned about one person: herself. She didn't vote because she didn't want to damage her public image. If she did the right thing (voted for Misha to leave it up to Gary to either send Janet home or take it to deadlock) then it would have undermined Misha, and if she actually manned up to vote out Janet then it would have reinforced the rumours that she didn't like Janet and loves Misha to a ridiculous degree. Either way, she would have come off badly. The way it played out was, if you ask me, an attempt by Kelly to make her look like she cared for Janet but ultimately keep Misha. You could tell that Janet knew she was going the moment the bottom two was announced. They've been sabotaging her for most of the competition and she knows it better than anyone, I feel so unbelievably sorry for her and I hope that she regains some confidence once she's free from X Factor tour commitments.
