I don't feel like I'm 42,I was repressed by a bad relationship that was on again off again for about 6 years from my early to late twenties so I missed out on a lot plus I now can express my silly sense of humour on here and be myself. I find it hard to trust people because of stuff thats happened in my life, coming on here is a bit of escapism. I am much happier now, don't get me wrong, but in reality I don't let anyone get close, they can't hurt me then.

Welcome to the over 40's club Kate.

If you ever feel the need to borrow a walking stick..... I'll think Novo (or Locke) had one the other night that they were showing me. It looked quite a sturdy one - great for bashing people with, should the need arise! :D

michael21 07-12-2011 06:16 PM

Hi Kate can you drive?

Chuck 07-12-2011 06:20 PM

I used to think Kate was like 16 or something.

Kate, if you could go back to a particular age or age bracket - what would that be?

I would go back to a very specific time, when I was 28 and expecting my son, and I would change a decision I made about a friend, my life would have been somewhat different had I chosen a different path. Its my one regret. Apart from that there is nothing I would want to relive, I have my son, who is everything to me. :)

- wonders why Locke or Novo were showing Pyramid a walking stick :D -

Hi Adam :)

Can't possibly pick just one, I like the 80s bratpack films like The Breakfast Club and Pretty in Pink. Also Grease, Grease 2 and Dirty Dancing.

Adam Sandler is a big favourite, Chuck and Larry, Bedtime Stories, 50 first dates to name but a few.

Avatar was amazing, very effective.

Best film of the last year is Bridesmaids, I laughed, I cried, it was brilliant, keep meaning to get it on DVD and watch it again. It has Chris O Dowd from the I.T. Crowd in it too, love him.

ooh, an intellectual question. right, well I can't claim great knowledge on this subject but from what I hear, the human race is killing this planet, using up all its resources, we need to look for renewable energy resources in the long-term. Simple things like not using aerosols could make a big difference if everyone did it.

hows that?

and Scott - I don't know the Haydock area, never really been there, but its bound to be posher than Sutton, lol.

- wonders why the telly is so crap tonight, might read my book instead. -

If you had a time machine, what period of time would you like to travel to, and why?

that's a great one.

Past: I would go back to the sixties and be a hippy chick, smoke pot and see what all the fuss was about :D

Future: This time next year, so I would know who wins CBB, BB, X Factor and all major sporting events - I would then return to the present and place a lot of money with various Bookies :D
