I think of Ireland alongisde the UK. Might not be a politically sensitive thing to do, but despite our previous differences, I think most Brits regard the Irish as being a part of the "family".

Well, no doubt we're probably very similar in attitudes and humour, on the same wave length I think.

I think the queens visit to Ireland just recently really helped mend alot of bridges for people here.

I most certainly think this and I cannot see anything wrong with it, I have heritage from both countries. :)
