I don't have a clue what the difference is, but googled unsmoked bacon and that looks like the kind I normally have :laugh:

Definately smoked, especially maple cured. In fresh white doorstop bread with lashings of butter and ketchup

I've never had smoked bacon, I don't think, and it's been over 1 year since I had bacon.
