Doubt I will, I've barely posted this past couple of weeks...

I'm quite surprised at the amount of folk saying, "Yep, I'll be here" - I honestly would have thought that esp those with immediate family of their own (ie; husband/wife/partner and kids) would be wanting to dedicate one day of the year to the family unit and spend the day with them : than consider coming onto a forum.

Not saying there's anything wrong with it, more that I'm surprised.

I will as I have got The X Factor Competition to do.

I'd never realised it was so quick - how did I miss that I wonder?......

I am referring less to those who jump on to say a Merry Christmas - and who may end up spending more time on here on Christmas Day, than possibly the time they will spend with their family/children. I don't doubt a lot of the single younger ones will be here - they'll be glad to get some time away from the parents and get some privacy no doubt - we've all been there.

Yeah I will cause Christmas is a normal day to me, I'll be working three shifts that day, and two on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day too

We get a paid week or so off in January instead lol, and definately in the middle of the madness, at least in the middle shift....I'm a waiter D:

Glenn. 21-12-2011 11:33 PM

I'll probably check in at some point. I use my iPod for most of my daily browsing, so it's easier to come on than it would be on my laptop.

I used to do both cocktail waitress work as well as bar work for 2nd jobs years ago; and always opted for those shift. Long hard hours, but great atmosphere and the tips were mega. Made it all worthwhile......

King Gizzard 21-12-2011 11:42 PM

Oh I don't know...after reading some of Glenn's posts about some really spoiled brats especially at Christmas : I can fully understand now why some parents might seek refuge here away from them!

:D

Ian will tell you, I am a terrible cook.:(

I have already booked Xmas dinner at a local restaurant with my friends. (I will bring doggy back for Sooty, Charlie and Scooby - Friends's dog :D)

I do not need to cook, so Xmas day, my kitchen will be nice and tidy and clean.
I am the person I do not want to use oven because I do not want to clean it after using it.
(My husband used to call me stinking lazy:shocked:)
