And in response to your other post, yes the tips over the festive period are amazing.

Which I normally would: but given that the same theme was on several threads last night - I'm getting a bit sick to the gills of reading the same tales of woe stuff.

This WAS meant to be a happy wee thread. - so much for that.

I didn't start the thread like that to be met with moans, groans and people doing their damndest to offload their misery onto others. I read enough of it all last night - woe is me crap - enough.

I don't have loving family members around me - I'm not moaning about it every second on here. didn't you tell Arista to stop posting depressed posts on nice happy threads a short while agao and stating along with others that Arista should stop spoiling it for everyone else who DOES look forward to Christmas and who DID enjoy the day?

I did realise it said that but I was greeted by several other members not posting only if their christmas was absolutely wonderful so I also posted. I will however leave though.

Had a really good day,all my Brothers and their children around me and just a fantastic day because I see so little of them through the year.

Really hope you Snowball/Pyramid* had a great day as well.

Jack_ 25-12-2011 11:50 PM

I've had a genuinely lovely day...probably the best Christmas ever. Great presents and a really nice atmosphere...gutted it's over! :(

Glad to hear it Joey. I had a brilliant day - and even remained sober thanks to the overload of food. I really should start playing catch-up! tee hee.....

Only got the next 5 days to go with Turkey sandwiches, turkey curry, turkey pies, turkey casseroles...... :spin:

Did anyone NOT have turkey?

Brother Leon 26-12-2011 12:08 AM

Callum 26-12-2011 11:37 AM

Had a very nice day yesterday. :) I love Christmas, sad how it's all over so soon though. It's built up so much and then the actual day itself just flys by. Also my cousin's uncle was invited over who I had never met before but he would have spent Christmas on his own otherwise, his wife died last Christmas and his own children didn't invite him over theirs for Christmas. It was his birthday yesterday too, nice man and nobody should be alone on Christmas.

Doogle 26-12-2011 01:33 PM

Woke up from a nightmare, got Mum up too early not realising she has a bad back so it started badly but I got loads of amazing gifts, had a lovely meal and rested all day. Best Christmas since 2009.

Niamh. 26-12-2011 03:19 PM

Yeah, very lazy and sluggish but good

Niall 26-12-2011 03:36 PM

It sucked. I was sick for the whole thing, so.

I'm not sure really. I feel even worse today.. I'm all weak, and I have a headache, blocked nose and all that stuff. It must be the flu or something.

It really is. :bawling: I hate it.

I'm always sick at some point in the Christmas Holidays anyway. For the past 3 years running, I've been sick on New Years Day. :bored:

It was class. My insides feel like crisps now though. I literally feel like crisps. I'm not sure how to convey that any better.

Got a stack of wrestling DVD's, the standard issue Lynx from relatives I don't know and a Liverpool jersey to so I can let everyone know how much I dig Standard Chartered.

Got drunk, ate crisps, found Absoloutely Fabulous to be surprisingly decent etc. Hope everyone had a good day.

Kerry 26-12-2011 11:15 PM

Yeah. Nice easy slow day.

Scarlett. 27-12-2011 10:34 AM

You were right Snowball, they tipped me £70 :D
