yeah Id vote him 1000 times but as has been said for some reason the british public are anti american....madsen has dry wry subtle humour and imagination but we brits lost that legendary sense of humour and subtlety around about the time del boy and porridge and steptoe and all the legendary comedies came to an end ....not to mention british movies which have also been shallow rubbish since ....um probably trainspotters and before that? the michael caine movies?....I dont know where we lost part of ourselves but we did....1.5 million plastic surgeries in UK last year ...meanwhile depression and mental illnesses through the roof....sorry to be a bit maudlin (sad) but Im watching reality tv and Im more concern with reality non-tv....we should have a great american star as champ to prove we can still actually see the difference between a manufactured personality and a legendary movie star

I don't see why Michael couldn't win. He's been a slow burner but has won a lot of people around. After Aaron winning BB despite all the manipulations by channel 5 to prevent him doing so, I believe anything is possible now.

fruit_cake 12-01-2012 08:20 AM

I'm not really bothered who wins, Michael, whoever

chuff me dizzy 12-01-2012 08:24 AM

Not for me, I cannot see the point of him ,boring IMO

Kazanne 12-01-2012 09:01 AM

Only Michael ,Denise and Frankie deserve to win now.

mizzy25 12-01-2012 10:42 AM

I AGREE i like michael far more than kirk

Niamh. 12-01-2012 12:29 PM

Yes I agree, I think it's only right that the actual celebrity wins :idc:

If he is up in a one on one, it will be much harder to keep him in. It will be eaiser to save him and make sure he reaches the final and maybe just maybe then stand a chance of winning, if there are more than two up for the vote after Friday.

Oh, another post calling all Brits anti-American, while you wildly generalise about how awful and shallow Brits are. Do knock it off...

Maybe you're just going to the wrong places..watching the wrong TV shows...living in the wrong country...I don't know...it's a tricky one...

Complete and utter tosh, absolute rubbish.

I am one of many posters on here who were delighted to have American Michael in the house, I'm also one who would be equally delighted if he won - I suspect he won't but I'd far rather he won than any of the Brits in the house.

Please don't generalise with comments such as, 'we Brits have lost a legendary sense of humour' - because you are not speaking for this particular Brit.

I have one of the driest, most sarcastic sense of humour around, if anything: it's the Americans who often don't have that - thankfully Michael does. It's one of the reasons I like the man.

Wow... where are you taking them? My American friends love it here.

I have one of the driest, most sarcastic sense of humour around, - SELF PRAISE IS NO RECOMMENDATION, YOU HAVE MADE A VERY ARROGANT STATEMENT THERE if anything: it's the Americans who often don't have that - thankfully Michael does. It's one of the reasons I like the man. NOW WHO IS GENERALISING? HYPOCRITE! YOU HAVE PROVED MY POINT IS 100% CORRECT.
