Candles are not just for middle aged women at all, I love yankee candles!! They smell good enough to eat lol. My favourite at the moment is 'home sweet home' i got it for my friend last christmas and she loves it too. It smells like cinnamon and sugar cookies!! :elephant:

No they are not. The one's I have are masculine scents. I class my house as a bachelor pad and a place with things I like and I happen to like my house smelling nice. I find air fresheners nauseating, especially the rancid plug-in ones.

A tranquil blend of bergamot pepper, dray sage and a touch of cedar. It smells really nice. Honestly, everyone who comes over to my house loves that one.

Ha old thread bump.

I've just got a yankee candle electrical tart warmer. Used to use oil burners with tea lights but stopped when I had my cat. So these are perfect.

Ah good ol Yankee Candles

I usually get a couple of gift bags from there for my xmas with candles, tealights and drawer sachets, hope I get one this year because I'm running low

I am loving the Black Cherry one at the moment

Natalie. 21-12-2013 08:39 AM

If anyone wants to buy me one of these, feel free

Verbal 21-12-2013 08:46 AM

Where do people that have them buy the 'tart' things? I had 5 with the warmer, and i've bought 24 of them on amazon for £23. Any better?

I would say that's the best deal I have seen yet tbh, on ebay they sell for £1.16 each and in some shops where I live they get them in every now and then for £1.

So yeah that sounds a good deal to me.

Josy 21-12-2013 08:56 AM

If you have bought 24 and had 5 though they should last a fair bit the burn time is about 8 hours.

Josy 21-12-2013 08:58 AM

Special offer here is 10 for the price of 8

..I'm guessing it's like that smell when your towels just come out of the wash and they're all huggable/smellable....(smellable isn't a word but it should be..)...

Yea the burn times are a bit strange. I only bought one cos a woman at work had one in her office, i'd never seen an electrical one. She had the same tart in the burning for a week. The morning I had it delivered I put one in and it was gone the next day, after about 5 hours of burn time.

King Gizzard 21-12-2013 01:36 PM

QD (don't laugh) do their own version with various smells for 4 quid and they smell as good and if anything last longer, I get mine from there
