Ignore list doesn't make sense to me. The only people that i'd bother putting on such a list are the people who i enjoy interacting with the most. The most annoying are also the most fun, right?

I concur. This could really come in handy right now.

I was actually thinking earlier of an idea that's slightly the opposite to this: the possibility of being able to click something on the "You have this user on ignore" message and being able to temporarily view their post.

It's just from time to time the members I have on ignore might post in a thread that's interesting and I'll want to see their post, however much I can't stand the rest of theirs, but it seems a longwinded way to unignore them, find the thread again, read it and then put them back on ignore.

I'm pretty sure you already can.

yeah, in the top right hand corner of a post of someone you have on ignore lets you view their post

Personally, the only people I put on my ignore list are people that have flashing sigs. My Brother has epilepsy and if I leave the site open and he comes on the PC to use it after me and he sees it it can trigger an attack. I'm not saying that people shouldn't have flashing sigs, just that I have to be careful.

As for people who annoy me, I've learnt to just have my say, leave the thread and move on.

You can turn off sigs by going to User CP - Edit Options and taking the tick off Show Signatures

i think people need to grow up! you cant have a ignore button for life!,
also if someone wants to make you self harm then its you that is ignoreing that you have a problem and should get help!
