I don't follow those stats, but I'm glad I know that fact now.

What were the 13 from the 00's out of interest?

the 00s is good because it had better music, fashion, games, television (no I don't give a **** about some stupid 90s gameshow), technology etc.. but the 90s 'way of life' sounded more fun.. so I don't know

Niamh. 26-03-2013 09:49 PM

Yes, I'm sure...

Wildcat! 26-03-2013 10:07 PM

late 90's imo! Much better music, for me! Hip Hop R&B, Rock, one hit wonders! TV was better as well, no craap reality shows. Internet was around, but in moderation. No cell phones, people actually hang out all the time. going to concerts were a must. I was in my teens also, no responsabilities! :)
And Bill Clinton! :D

Early 2000s were good too though!

I hate when people say the early noughties were good and completely disregard the mid and late '00s :bored:

Because thats when everyhing went to shiit! Shiit singers became popular. No one really sings anymore, just the electronic crap. Reality tv overload. And the internet/smatphones taking over peoples lives!

I have to say though I think TV series are better in the 00's

Technology was obviously limited in comparison to now, but I'm sure in two decades' time we'll have moved on from the era of modern smartphones and mutually agree that iPads are just a bulky equivalent of the exact same thing.

I'd go with the noughties. More tolerant attitudes and school/college textbooks weren't just a diatribe of information. Both do have their pros and cons, though.

Not really. It's just fitting in with an increasingly technologically advanced world.

The 90s
It was party time, but we're suffering for it now

Turtle 26-03-2013 11:52 PM

In 98/99 we had such hope for the future, we didn't expect a 10 year war to happen. We just thought everything was going to get more and more awesome.

It all went downhill when people stopped wearing Khakis and went back to Jeans, that's when the party ended.

How could you say that, Future Love/Sex Sounds, B'Day, Good Girl Gone Bad, Confessions and The Emancipation of Mimi are all classics released in 2004-2007. Those years were the best years for music, I truly couldn't give a **** about some dull band from the 90s

InOne 27-03-2013 10:23 AM

Definitely the 90's. Plus there was that whole cool Britannia thing going on. Britpop, triphop and then bands like Radiohead that sort of were just inbetween.
