"MICHAEL COLE VS. JERRY LAWLER"

this one should not be on this PPV
Its a Time filler.

Stu 01-04-2011 04:52 PM

No it's not. It's been the best built match they have had this year. Virtually all of it's segments have been massively entertaining and it's going to be a riot watching it live.

Buy the PPV, you cheap bastards. It's WrestleMania. Put it on the big screen and save yerself all the hassle

Iceman 01-04-2011 06:07 PM

I dont have sky and wouldnt buy it just to wath Mania.....im not cheap, anything but....

bbfan1991 01-04-2011 07:14 PM

Hope it's true that good ol' JR will be hosting the main matches:).

Triple H will be using one of your favorite 'Tallica songs during his match against The Undertaker this weekend during WrestleMania XXVII.

In two seperate news stories Vladimir Kozlov has been 'badly attacked and injured' by The Corre at Fan Axcess, and Sean Waltman [X-Pac] has said Kevin Nash has, and I quote, 'brought his gear with him' to Atlanta :amazed::amazed::amazed:

Sting revealed in an interview with the Daily Star that World Wrestling Entertainment officials approached and offered him a match with The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXVII, as well as induction into the WWE Hall of Fame.

He declined their offer.

"I wouldn't say it was utter nonsense, that's not true!" laughs Sting. "It's a dream match that fans would want to see. It was close. I'm glad things turned out the way they did.

"There are so many variables. Let's just say that I turned it down for the same reasons I always have. Something in me never trusted what would happen up there, based entirely on the track record with other WCW guys and everything that went on after Vince bought WCW.

"I wont be watching but I'll be asking what happened between Undertaker and Triple H."

Brock Lesnar adds that WWE had not approached him at all regarding an appearance at WrestleMania.

"They were smart enough to know that I am deeply involved in UFC, what I am doing now.

"Wrestling doesn't affect my life so much. I'm a fighter. The WWE will go on, and it will always be there, but I am in the UFC for as far as I can see. If ever there was an opportunity in the future to be on Wrestlemania, then I guess I have to say: 'Never say never.'"

-- A meeting was held yesterday where it was agreed that the organization would no longer be referred as World Wrestling Entertainment due to Vince McMahon's decree to eliminate the term "wrestling" from the product. The company will be solely branded as WWE. Multiple sources indicate the meeting ended with this directive. Seriously.

-- Attempting to capitalize on American Idol contestant James Durbin's noted wrestling fandom, World Wrestling Entertainment sent him a custom made spinner WWE "Spinner" belt. It was displayed on last night's show with the name "Crazy James" engraved.

-- WWE Monday Night RAW on August 15, 2011 will be held at the Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, California.

-- Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson announced on his Twitter account that he's giving away tickets to WrestleMania XXVII. He wrote, "ROCK HIDE & TWEET - 2 Mania tix I'll hide here in ATLANTA - I'll tweet clues tomorrow am. You find the tix ..you're going to WRESTLEMANIA!"

Iceman 02-04-2011 11:38 PM

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is listing the following as the match order for WrestleMania 27:

* United States Champion Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan

* Jerry Lawler vs. Michael Cole with special referee "Stone Cold" Steve Austin

* Rey Mysterio vs. Cody Rhodes

* Big Show, Kane, Santino Marella and Vladimir Kozlov vs. Ezekiel Jackson, Heath Slater, Justin Gabriel and Wade Barrett

* John Morrison, Trish Stratus and Snooki vs. Dolph Ziggler and Lay-Cool

* Randy Orton vs. CM Punk

* World Heavyweight Champion Edge vs. Alberto Del Rio

* The Undertaker vs. Triple H (No Holds Barred Match)

* WWE Champion The Miz vs. John Cena

Stu 02-04-2011 11:42 PM

We discussed that order on UKFF and it's absoloute bollocks. Cole and King's match wont be that early, and they have far too many midcard matches in a row. WM these days tend to be sturctured with a big match every hour so as to keep the momentum going and keep the crowd paced to prevent burnout.

Can't bloody wait. Either way we have to be thankful the rock will be here and we have no idea what he is going to do. One thing thats guaranteed that he said himself is that he will have plenty of backstage bits where he will bump into current stars.

WRESTLEMANIA!

Listen! Nostalgia! MARK OUT! Anyone remember this theme? They used it for YEARS.

Iceman 02-04-2011 11:48 PM

Rock has to bump into Austin, can see a great stare down with the 2 happening....

Stu 02-04-2011 11:55 PM

I reckon they will. And I also reckon they will get along. The two have had their last fight with each other already and are both from an age gone by. A showdown with the two against the traditional WrestleMania 'corridor of freaks' backstage segment would be class.

:D

That show we watched the other night, the way the undertaker spoke to the other guy saying he was humbled, I just thought he was far too arrogant. So I think his winning streak will end, well I hope it does.

And I find Snooki very annoying, so I really want her to lose.
