That actually reminded me of the premade sandwiches you can buy with the lettuce on them and the lettuce tastes disgusting, its all soggy.

Even worse is when you open a sandwich that is labelled as containing tomato - and all that is there is one chunk of the 'button/inner core' and not much else. :mad:

I'm exactly the same. root veggies I cannot get enough of. Salad were a total no go area. Weird how tastes change as we age.

I love salad.

I also love green vegetables. I don't go a bundle on root vegetables though, they taste too sweet for me but I will eat them if they're served up to me.
