Been reading up a bit more on the little dog - and it seems to have hydrocephalus. :(

"S'alright Arista. Just for you I also added in the NEWS STORY link to the opening post too."

Yes
Ideal for General Chat Section, though.

Oh I don't disagree with you. But given that the rules are so intertwined - they can be jigged about at the mods discretion. It could also have been put in any of the numerous photo threads that exist, or any of the numerous dedicated animal thread also.

I made an educated guess that this was a news story for discussion rather than a general chit chat thread - because the source was from a news story. Not putting in the link may have caused confusion: but many other posters put up similar threads with only a paste of context and no news paper links.

I don't particularly care where they put it to be honest - if people want to comment or add to it, they will. If they don't, they won't. the nature of the comments will be what determines if it is viewed as general guff or or more serious new story format. ie: it appears the dog has hydrosyphelus - it could evolve into a more 'serious' discussion on that level.

As it happened -it didn't, it's been taken very light hearted. Like I say: Im not bothered either way where they put it.
