I've decided to give it a try and have ordered the mini series.

I liked watching it if it was on, but I never watched it regularly.

Just noticed this available on catch up on virgin media so I'm giving the mini series a watch. CGI a bit dodgy but can deal with it if the story is good.

A question for the fans of this show. When do I watch "Razor"?

I'm on episode 16 of season 2. Just googled for the viewing order and found I should have watched it after episode 8 of season 2 or something. Is there anything vital in it I may have missed?

There's nothing vital in Razor really. It's just there to flesh out Admiral Cain and backstories. It's not vital to the plot or anything (none of the mini movies are, js).
