I hope they fix mulitplayer

Scarlett. 02-05-2012 10:19 AM

The multiplayer needs to have much bigger maps, with vehicles

Here's an interesting interview
http://www.gametrailers.com/video/de...call-of/729707

New info
- The main character is the son of the original Black Ops lead, Mason, he's called David Mason
- Strike force missions branch off from the main campaign
- Strike force missions will affect the main campaign, they can be failed and this will affect the main storyline
- Strike force missions are quite sandbox, letting you control drones and those Metal Gear style robots at anytime
- Strike force also lets you play the game as a general, viewing the battlefield from above
- In Strike force missions you can switch between squad members
- Main missions will be more linear
- The game will feature levels set in the 1980s with 2/3rds of the game taking place in 2025
- The 2025 plot revolves around a cold war with China, who are hoarding the worlds oil and precious Earth materials after being hit by a cyber attack

I'm so gonna get this

Sounds like they are really trying to shake things up..about time!

:amazed:

Okay this sounds/looks to be far better than I thought it would be. The info from that interview made me feel a lot better, upon seeing the trailer I was worried it might just be a rehash of MW1/2/3.

It seems like its not gonna be that way though, so I reckon I'll get this. I always did prefer Treyarch to Infinity Ward anyway.

Tom4784 02-05-2012 02:45 PM

It looks to be going in the right direction but I've seen nothing I care about so far.

Brother Leon 02-05-2012 03:03 PM

lol. The mood change in this thread.

Never doubt Treyarch tbh :) :idc:

Scarlett. 02-05-2012 08:36 PM

Infinity Ward should just stop making CoD games, Treyarch are way superior

Samuel. 02-05-2012 08:46 PM

Maybe now. Infinity Ward before all the important staff there left >

They'll never top CoD4.

Scarlett. 02-05-2012 09:00 PM

That's true, Activision shot themselves in the foot there

Ikr. All their efforts suck anyway and they keep churning out piss poor games every other year. I just can't stand them. They can't seem to make the multiplayer balanced either I just ugh. :bored:

Brother Leon 04-05-2012 10:01 PM

Zombies will go from 4 players max to 8.
:amazed:
